8. Troubleshooting (FAQ)
8.1 Fail to turn on
- Please check if the battery is charged.
8.2 No SIM signal
- Please check if the SIM card is installed correctly.
- Please check if the SIM card supports GSM or LTE network.
- Make sure the SIM Card's PIN code is deactivated.
- Make sure call forwarding is not active.
8.3 No GPS signal
- A more open view of the sky is recommended to ensure the device can receive the GPS signal normally. GPS ONLY works outdoors.
8.4 No reply to SMS command
- The command format might be wrong or the SIM card has insufficient balance.
- Please ensure the SIM card has sufficient balance, supports making calls, sending messages, GPRS network, and has opened call shows and turned off call forwarding.
8.5 SMS position OK, but cannot use the APP and web platform
- Please check if the APN is correctly set. Find out the correct APN content for your SIM card and configure it (refer to section 6.3.1).
8.6 Platform position is different from the actual position
- If there is no uploading position time or no GPS signal: Call the device phone number and receive the position message. If it shows LBS tracking information (like Pic 2 in the manual), it means there is no GPS signal, and the position is the last known GPS location. If it shows GPS tracking information (like Pic 1 in the manual), it means the device hasn't reached the uploading time.
