3. Setup Guide

3.1 Wired Connection

Locate the USB Type-C port on the left side of the keyboard.
Connect one end of the provided USB Type-C cable to the keyboard.
Connect the other end of the USB cable to an available USB port on your computer.
Ensure the mode switch (located next to the USB port) is set to 'Wired' mode.
The keyboard will be automatically recognized by your system.

3.2 Wireless (Bluetooth) Connection

Ensure the keyboard is charged. Connect the USB Type-C cable to charge if needed.
Set the mode switch (located next to the USB port) to 'Wireless' mode.
To enter pairing mode, press and hold the Fn key simultaneously with one of the Bluetooth device keys (Fn + 1, Fn + 2, or Fn + 3) for 3-5 seconds until the indicator light flashes rapidly.
On your device (computer, tablet, smartphone), enable Bluetooth and search for new devices.
Select "AN94BT" from the list of available devices.
If prompted, enter the pairing code displayed on your screen.
Once paired, the indicator light will stop flashing and remain solid.
To switch between paired Bluetooth devices, press Fn + 1, Fn + 2, or Fn + 3 briefly.

4.2 Function (Fn) Key Combinations

The Fn key (located to the right of the Alt key) allows access to secondary functions printed on various keys.

4.3 Charging the Keyboard

When the battery is low, the indicator light may flash or change color. Connect the USB Type-C cable to the keyboard and a power source (e.g., computer USB port, USB wall adapter) to charge. The indicator light will typically show charging status and turn off or change color when fully charged.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning

Disconnect the keyboard from your computer before cleaning.
Use a soft, lint-free cloth slightly dampened with water or a mild cleaning solution to wipe the keycaps and chassis.
For deeper cleaning, use a can of compressed air to remove dust and debris from between the keycaps.
To clean under the keycaps, use the provided keycap puller to carefully remove them. Clean the switches and plate with a soft brush or compressed air.
Ensure the keyboard is completely dry before reconnecting it.

5.2 Hot-Swappable Switches

The AN94BT features hot-swappable switches, allowing you to change them without soldering. Use the provided switch puller to carefully remove switches. Align new switches with the pins and press firmly until they click into place. Ensure the keyboard is disconnected before attempting to remove or install switches.

5.3 Battery Care

Avoid exposing the keyboard to extreme temperatures.
For optimal battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently.
If storing the keyboard for an extended period, charge it to about 50% before storage.

6. Troubleshooting

6.1 Keyboard Not Responding (Wired Mode)

Ensure the USB Type-C cable is securely connected to both the keyboard and the computer.
Try a different USB port on your computer.
Ensure the mode switch on the keyboard is set to 'Wired'.
Test the keyboard on another computer to rule out system-specific issues.

6.2 Keyboard Not Connecting (Bluetooth Mode)
