4. Hardwire Kit Installation (Optional)

For 24-hour parking surveillance, a hardwire kit (if purchased) is required. This connects the dash cam directly to your car's fuse box, providing continuous power even when the engine is off, and includes low voltage protection.

Warning: If you do not have experience with installing hardwire kits, please seek professional assistance to avoid damage to your vehicle or the device.

Operating Instructions

1. Automatic Recording

  • Once powered on, the dash cam will automatically begin recording.
  • The device features loop recording, which continuously records video. When the memory card is full, the oldest unlocked files will be overwritten.

2. G-Sensor (Emergency Recording)

  • The built-in G-Sensor detects sudden movements or collisions.
  • In the event of an impact, the current video segment will be automatically locked and saved to prevent it from being overwritten by loop recording.

3. 24-Hour Parking Monitor

  • With the optional hardwire kit installed, the dash cam can monitor your vehicle even when parked.
  • It detects motion or impact and automatically records, providing surveillance against vandalism or hit-and-runs.
  • The low voltage protection feature ensures the car battery is not drained below 11.6V, automatically cutting off power to allow the car to start normally.

4. WiFi APP Control

  • Download the companion app (e.g., AZDOME connect APP, LUFENGZHE) from the App Store or Google Play.
  • Connect your smartphone to the dash cam's built-in WiFi network.
  • Through the app, you can view live footage, download recorded videos and photos, and share them directly to social media.

Maintenance

  • Clean the Lens: Regularly wipe the camera lens with a soft, lint-free cloth to ensure clear recordings.
  • Check SD Card: Periodically check the Micro SD card for errors or corruption. Format the card monthly to maintain optimal performance and prevent data loss.
  • Firmware Updates: Check the manufacturer's website or app for any available firmware updates to ensure your dash cam has the latest features and bug fixes.
  • Operating Temperature: Avoid exposing the dash cam to extreme temperatures outside its specified operating range (-40°C to +75°C) to prevent damage.

Troubleshooting

Dash cam does not power on:
  • Ensure the power cable is securely connected to both the dash cam and the car's power source (cigarette lighter or hardwire kit).
  • Check the car's power source (e.g., cigarette lighter fuse) to ensure it is functioning.
  • If using a hardwire kit, verify all connections to the fuse box are correct and secure.
Video recording is unclear or blurry:
  • Clean the camera lens with a soft cloth.
  • Ensure the protective film has been removed from the lens.
  • Check the video resolution settings in the app; ensure it is set to 4K (3840*2160P) for the highest quality.
Dash cam stops recording or shows "memory card full" error:
  • Ensure you are using a Class 10 or higher Micro SD card.
  • Format the Micro SD card regularly (e.g., monthly) through the dash cam settings or the app.
  • If many emergency recordings are saved, they might fill up the card. Review and delete unnecessary locked files.
WiFi connection issues:
  • Ensure the dash cam's WiFi is enabled.
  • Restart both the dash cam and your smartphone.
  • Try reconnecting to the dash cam's WiFi network from your phone's WiFi settings.
Voice control not responding:
  • Speak clearly and directly towards the dash cam.
  • Ensure the car environment is not excessively noisy.
  • Check if voice control is enabled in the device settings via the app.
No GPS functionality:
  • This model does not explicitly list built-in GPS. If GPS features are desired, ensure you have a model variant or external module that supports it.
Rear camera compatibility:
  • This specific model is listed as having "None" for Rear Camera. If a rear camera is desired, a different model or a dual-channel dash cam would be required.

User Tips

  • For optimal video quality, especially at night, ensure your windshield is clean and free of smudges or dirt.
  • Regularly back up important video files to your phone or computer to prevent accidental deletion or overwriting.
  • When connecting to the app via WiFi, remember that your phone will temporarily disconnect from its mobile data or home WiFi network.
  • Consider using a high-endurance Micro SD card designed for dash cams, as they are built to withstand continuous writing cycles.
