3. Setup and Installation
The Lemorele TC122 is designed for plug-and-play functionality. Follow these steps to set up your docking station:
- Verify Device Compatibility: Before use, please ensure that your laptop or device's USB-C port supports USB-C audio and video output (DisplayPort Alternate Mode), data transfer, and PD power delivery functions.
- Connect the Docking Station: Plug the integrated USB-C cable of the TC122 docking station into a compatible USB-C port on your laptop or device.
- Connect Peripherals: Connect your external monitors to the HDMI ports, USB devices (keyboard, mouse, flash drives, external hard drives) to the USB-A ports, and a power adapter to the USB-C PD port if charging is required.

Ensure your laptop's USB-C port supports DisplayPort Alternate Mode for full functionality.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Display Modes (Windows)
For Windows systems, the TC122 supports both Mirror Mode (A-A-A) and Extend Mode (A-B-B or A-B-C).
- Connect your external monitor(s) to the HDMI ports on the docking station.
- Press
WIN + Pon your keyboard. - Select your desired display mode:
- **Duplicate (Mirror Mode A-A-A):** Duplicates your laptop screen to all connected external monitors.
- **Extend (Extend Mode A-B-B or A-B-C):** Extends your desktop across multiple screens, allowing for more workspace.
Note on Resolution (Windows):
- When plugging in one HDMI, the resolution is 4K@30Hz.
- When using two HDMIs at the same time, the resolution can only be 1080P@60Hz.

Windows extended display options.
4.2 Display Modes (macOS)
Due to macOS not supporting MST (Multi-Stream Transport) technology, when multiple monitors are connected via the TC122, only mirroring (AAA) display or mirroring the same extended screen (ABB) display is possible. Triple-screen extended mode (A-B-C) is not supported.
- Connect your external monitor(s) to the HDMI ports on the docking station.
- Go to
System Settings>Displays. - Configure your display arrangement for Mirror Mode (A-A-A) or Extend Mode (A-B-B).
Note on Resolution (macOS):
- When plugging in one HDMI, the resolution is 4K@30Hz.
- When using two HDMIs at the same time, the resolution is also 4K@30Hz, but only mirroring is supported across the external displays.

4.3 Data Transfer
Connect your USB devices to the available USB-A 3.0 (5Gbps) and USB-A 2.0 (480Mbps) ports for high-speed data transfer. The USB-C data transfer port supports connecting USB-C storage devices for data transfer.

High-speed data transfer via USB 3.0 port.
4.4 Power Delivery (PD Charging)
The USB-C PD port supports up to 100W power input. Connect a compatible USB-C power adapter to this port to charge your laptop while using the docking station. The docking station itself occupies approximately 15W for operation, leaving up to 85W for your laptop charging when using a 100W power adapter.

Fast PD charging for your laptop.
5. Troubleshooting
5.1 HDMI Monitor Not Displaying
Q: Why doesn't the HDMI monitor display anything?
A: When connecting an HDMI monitor via a USB-C HUB, the USB-C port on the laptop must support audio and video output (DisplayPort Alternate Mode). Please check if your laptop's USB-C port has this capability. Refer to your laptop's specifications or manufacturer's website.
5.2 macOS Triple-Screen Extended Display
Q: Why can't MacBook achieve triple-screen extended display when connected to multiple HDMI monitors?
A: Due to macOS not supporting MST (Multi-Stream Transport) technology, when multiple monitors are connected, only mirroring (AAA) display or mirroring the same extended screen (ABB) display is possible. Triple-screen extended mode (A-B-C) is not supported on macOS.

7. Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your Lemorele TC122 docking station, please observe the following:
- Environmental Conditions: Do not expose the device to humid or high-temperature environments for extended periods to avoid damage.
- Cable Management: To prolong the device lifespan, avoid frequently plugging and unplugging cables from the docking station and your host device.
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the device. Avoid liquid cleaners or abrasive materials.
8. User Tips
- Direct Connection: Connecting the HUB to a laptop via a USB-A to USB-C adapter may result in incomplete functionality of some HUB ports. For best performance, connect directly via the integrated USB-C cable.
- Avoid Extension Cables: Connecting the HUB via a USB-C extension cable may affect signal transmission. It is not recommended to use an extension cable with the HUB.
- PD Port Functionality: The USB-C PD port supports only power input for charging your host device, not data transfer.
- USB-C Data Port Functionality: The dedicated USB-C data transfer port only supports connecting USB-C storage devices for data transfer, not video output or charging.
- Power Adapter for Charging: When using the PD charging feature, it is recommended to use a 100W PD charger. This ensures sufficient power (85W) for your laptop after the hub consumes its operational power (15W).
- Nintendo Switch Compatibility: When connecting the HUB to a Nintendo Switch, please use the power adapter that comes with the Switch or a power adapter with 45W or higher to ensure stable operation.
- High-Power Devices: When connecting multiple high-power devices simultaneously (e.g., external hard drives, multiple monitors), ensure the use of a power adapter with sufficient wattage connected to the PD port.
