5. Installation
Important: Installation should only be carried out by a qualified electrician. Ensure the main power supply is turned off before beginning any wiring work.
5.1 Wiring Diagrams
The thermostat supports three different heating versions: Water Heating (GA), Electric Floor Heating (GB), and Water/Gas Boiler (GC). Refer to the appropriate diagram for your system.

5.2 Mounting
The thermostat is designed for installation in an 86*86mm square or European 60mm round box. Secure the backplate to the wall box using the provided screws, then attach the thermostat unit to the backplate.
6. Initial Setup & Wi-Fi Pairing

6.1 Wi-Fi Pairing
- Ensure the thermostat is powered on and displaying the home interface.
- Press and hold the knob button for more than 5 seconds. Release the button when the Wi-Fi icon starts blinking. This indicates the thermostat has entered distribution mode.
- Open the Tuya Smart App on your smartphone. Follow the in-app instructions to add a new device. The app will guide you through connecting the thermostat to your home Wi-Fi network.
- Once successfully paired, the device and app will be synchronized, allowing remote control.
6.2 Device Sharing
You can share control of your thermostat with family members through the Tuya Smart App. This allows multiple users to manage the heating system from their own devices.

7. Operation
7.1 Knob Control
- Home Interface: When powered on, the thermostat displays the home interface showing current temperature, date, time, outdoor humidity, Wi-Fi status, and heating status.
- Accessing Functions: If the screen is on the home interface and there's no activity, press the knob button once to wake up the device. Press it again to enter the function interface.
- Selecting Options: In the function interface, rotate the knob to navigate through options such as Set Temperature, Language, Sensor Type, Clock, Brightness, Program Mode, Manual Mode, Power, and Temperature Calibration. Press the knob to select an option, rotate to adjust the setting, and press again to confirm.
- Returning to Home: To return to the home interface from the function interface, long-press the knob until the blue aperture forms a complete circle. Alternatively, after confirming a function, the thermostat will automatically return to the main interface after 10 seconds of inactivity.
- Ambient Aperture: The thermostat features a multi-color ambient aperture. In the main interface, its color can be changed at will. When adjusting settings in the function area, the ambient aperture's color will synchronize with the color of the selected function area.
7.2 Remote Control (Tuya Smart App)
Connect your Wi-Fi thermostat to the Tuya Smart App to control your device from anywhere. This includes adjusting temperature, setting schedules, and monitoring status.
7.3 Voice Control
The thermostat is compatible with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. You can control your device using voice commands to adjust temperature, turn heating on/off, and integrate it into your smart home routines.
