3. Product Overview

The COIBEU A28B Series camera is designed for outdoor surveillance, featuring dual lenses, PTZ functionality, and advanced night vision modes. Below are diagrams highlighting key components and dimensions.

4. Setup Instructions

4.1 Physical Installation

  1. Choose a Location: Select an outdoor location with a clear view of the area you wish to monitor. Ensure it's within range of your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network.
  2. Mount the Camera: Use the provided mounting screws and wall plugs to securely attach the camera to a wall or ceiling.
  3. Connect Power: Connect the power adapter to the camera's power input and plug it into a suitable power outlet. The camera will power on and initiate its self-test.
  4. Insert SD Card (Optional): If you plan to use local storage, gently insert a TF (MicroSD) card (up to 128GB, Class 10 or higher recommended) into the designated slot. Ensure the camera is powered off before inserting or removing the card.
  5. Network Connection (Wired Option): If your model supports an RJ45 port, you can connect an Ethernet cable for a stable wired network connection.

4.2 App Setup (ICSee App)

The COIBEU A28B Series camera uses the ICSee app for remote control and monitoring.

  1. Download the App: Search for 'ICSee' in your smartphone's app store (iOS or Android) and download it.
  2. Register/Login: Open the ICSee app and create a new account or log in if you already have one.
  3. Add Device:
    • Ensure your smartphone is connected to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. (5GHz networks are not supported by the camera).
    • Tap the '+' icon or 'Add Camera' in the app.
    • Follow the on-screen prompts. The app may use Bluetooth to quickly find and connect to the camera.
    • Enter your Wi-Fi network name (SSID) and password when prompted.
    • The camera will emit a sound indicating successful connection.
  4. Name Your Device: Assign a name to your camera (e.g., 'Front Door', 'Backyard') for easy identification.
  5. Configure Storage (Optional): If you inserted an SD card, the app will prompt you to format it. You can also activate cloud storage services through the app.

5. Operating Instructions

Once your camera is set up, you can access and control it via the ICSee app.

5.1 Live View and PTZ Control

From the app's main screen, select your camera to view the live feed. For models with dual lenses, you may see a split screen view.

  • Pan/Tilt/Zoom (PTZ): Use the directional controls within the app to remotely rotate the camera horizontally (Pan: 355°) and vertically (Tilt: 90°) to adjust the viewing angle.
  • Digital Zoom: Pinch-to-zoom on the live feed to digitally zoom in or out.

5.2 Night Vision Modes

The camera supports multiple night vision modes for clear monitoring in low-light conditions:

  • Infrared Night Vision: Provides clear black and white video in complete darkness using infrared LEDs.
  • Color Night Vision: Utilizes built-in white LEDs to illuminate the area, providing full-color video even at night. This mode can also act as a deterrent.

5.3 Two-Way Audio

The camera features a built-in microphone and speaker, allowing for two-way communication. Tap the microphone icon in the app to speak through the camera, and listen to audio from the camera's environment.

5.4 Motion Detection & Smart Alerts

The camera is equipped with AI human tracking and motion detection. You can configure these features in the app to receive real-time alerts on your smartphone when motion is detected or a human figure is identified.

5.5 Recording and Playback

  • Local Storage: Recordings are saved to the inserted TF card. You can view playback directly from the app.
  • Cloud Storage: Optional cloud storage services are available for continuous recording and secure backup. Activate and manage this feature within the ICSee app.

5.6 Multi-User and Multi-Camera Viewing

The ICSee app supports multi-user access and multi-camera viewing, allowing you to share camera access with family members and monitor multiple COIBEU cameras simultaneously.

6. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Regularly clean the camera lens with a soft, dry cloth to ensure clear image quality. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
  • Firmware Updates: Check the ICSee app periodically for firmware updates. Keeping your camera's firmware up-to-date ensures optimal performance, security, and access to new features.
  • Power Cycle: If the camera becomes unresponsive, try power cycling it by unplugging and re-plugging the power adapter.

7. Troubleshooting

  • Camera Offline:
    • Check Wi-Fi signal strength at the camera's location.
    • Ensure the camera is powered on and the power adapter is securely connected.
    • Verify your Wi-Fi router is functioning correctly and connected to the internet.
    • Restart the camera and your Wi-Fi router.
  • Cannot Connect to Wi-Fi:
    • Confirm your Wi-Fi network is 2.4GHz. The camera does not support 5GHz Wi-Fi.
    • Double-check the Wi-Fi password entered in the app.
    • Move the camera closer to the router during initial setup.
  • No Recording to SD Card:
    • Ensure an SD card is properly inserted.
    • Format the SD card via the ICSee app.
    • Check if the SD card is full; enable loop recording if desired.
    • Verify the SD card is Class 10 or higher and not defective.
  • Poor Image Quality:
    • Clean the camera lens.
    • Ensure adequate lighting in the area, especially for color night vision.
    • Check your internet connection speed; a slow connection can affect streaming quality.
  • No Two-Way Audio:
    • Ensure microphone and speaker permissions are granted to the ICSee app on your smartphone.
    • Check volume settings on both your phone and within the app.

9. User Tips

  • Power Compatibility: The camera operates on DC12V/2A. While the included adapter is for BR PLUG, ensure your power source is compatible with the adapter's input voltage (check the adapter for bivolt capabilities if using in 220V regions).
  • Waterproof Installation: Although the camera has an IP66 waterproof rating, ensure all cable connections are properly sealed using the provided waterproof connector kit to prevent water ingress.
  • DVR/NVR Integration: For integration with a Digital Video Recorder (DVR) or Network Video Recorder (NVR), check if your specific camera model supports the ONVIF protocol. This information is usually found in the detailed product specifications or by contacting customer support.
