4. Setup Instructions
4.1. Connecting the Keyboard
The M87 Pro supports three connection modes: Bluetooth, 2.4GHz wireless, and USB-C wired. Use the quick switch located on the keyboard to select your desired mode.

4.1.1. USB-C Wired Connection
- Locate the USB-C port on the keyboard (bond line separation for easy disassembly).
- Connect one end of the provided USB-C cable to the keyboard.
- Connect the other end of the USB-C cable to an available USB port on your computer.
- Ensure the mode switch on the keyboard is set to 'Wired' or 'USB-C' mode.

4.1.2. 2.4GHz Wireless Connection

5.4. Hot-Swapping Switches
The M87 Pro features full key hot-swapping, allowing you to change mechanical switches without soldering. This is compatible with most 3-pin and 5-pin switches on the market.
- Power off the keyboard or disconnect it from your device.
- Use a keycap puller to carefully remove the desired keycap.
- Use a switch puller to gently grip and pull out the switch from its socket.
- Align the pins of the new switch with the holes in the PCB. Ensure the pins are straight to avoid bending.
- Press the new switch firmly into place until it clicks.
- Replace the keycap.

5.5. Ergonomic Adjustment

6. Maintenance
6.1. Cleaning the Keyboard
- Disconnect the keyboard from your computer before cleaning.
- Use a soft, lint-free cloth slightly dampened with water or a mild cleaning solution to wipe the keycaps and surface.
