2. Important Compatibility Notice

This rear view camera is guaranteed to work 100% with E-ACE DVR Dashcam A20 models. We cannot guarantee compatibility with other DVR models due to variations in rear image sensors and connection specifications. Using this camera with incompatible DVRs may result in malfunction or damage.

3. Package Contents

4. Setup and Installation

Warning: Due to the complexity of vehicle wiring and to prevent damage to the recorder or vehicle, professional installation is highly recommended. The following instructions are for reference only.

4.1 Cable Length Selection

Choose the appropriate cable length (6m or 10m) based on your vehicle's size to ensure sufficient reach from the rear camera position to the DVR unit.

4.2 Wiring Instructions

1. Mount the Rear Camera: Securely mount the rear view camera at the desired position on the rear of your vehicle. Common positions include above the license plate or near the trunk handle.
2. Connect to Reversing Light: Locate your car's reversing lamp power wire. Connect the red cable wire from the rear camera cable to the positive pole (+) of your car's reversing light. This connection enables the automatic reverse parking function.
3. Connect to DVR: Route the main rear camera cable to the location of your E-ACE DVR Dashcam. Plug the 2.5MM jack (Host Connector) of the rear camera cable into the corresponding input port on your DVR.
4. Power the DVR: Plug the car charger into the vehicle's cigar lighter socket to provide power to the DVR.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Automatic Reverse Parking

Once properly installed and connected, when you shift your car into reverse gear, the E-ACE DVR Dashcam will automatically switch its display to the rear camera view. This view will typically include parking lines to assist you in maneuvering your vehicle.

5.2 Night Vision

7. Troubleshooting

• No image on DVR when reversing:
  • Check if the red cable is correctly connected to the positive (+) pole of the reversing light.
  • Ensure the 2.5MM jack is securely plugged into the DVR.
  • Verify that the DVR is powered on and functioning correctly.
  • Confirm compatibility: This camera is only guaranteed to work with E-ACE DVR Dashcam A20.
• Distorted or unclear image:
  • Clean the camera lens.
  • Check for any physical damage to the camera or cable.
  • Ensure the cable connections are firm.
• Parking lines not appearing:
  • This feature is typically controlled by the DVR. Refer to your E-ACE DVR manual for settings related to parking lines.
