Button Functions:

Setup

Battery Installation:

  1. Locate the battery compartment cover on the back of the remote control.
  2. Slide the cover downwards to open the compartment.
  3. Insert two (2) AAA 1.5V alkaline batteries, ensuring the correct polarity (+ and -) as indicated inside the compartment.
  4. Slide the battery compartment cover back into place until it clicks securely.

Operating Instructions

Basic Operation:

  • Turning On/Off: Press the yellow Power button once to turn the AC unit on, and again to turn it off.
  • Changing Mode: Press the 'Mode' button repeatedly to cycle through available operating modes (e.g., Cool, Heat, Fan, Dry, Auto). The current mode will be displayed on the remote's screen.
  • Adjusting Temperature: Use the Up (▲) and Down (▼) arrow buttons to set your desired temperature.
  • Adjusting Fan Speed: Press the 'Fan' button to cycle through different fan speeds (e.g., Low, Medium, High, Auto).
  • Activating Swing: Press the 'Swing' button to start or stop the automatic louver swing.

Switching Temperature Units (Fahrenheit/Celsius):

This remote control supports both Fahrenheit (°F) and Celsius (°C) temperature displays. To switch between these units:

  • Simultaneously press and hold the Up (▲) and Down (▼) arrow buttons for approximately 3 seconds.
  • The temperature display on the remote control will switch to the alternate unit. Repeat the process to switch back.

Maintenance

Cleaning the Remote Control:

  • Wipe the surface of the remote control with a soft, dry cloth.
  • Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or chemical sprays, as these can damage the remote's finish or internal components.

Battery Replacement:

  • Replace batteries when the remote control's display becomes dim or unresponsive.
  • Always replace both batteries at the same time with new AAA 1.5V alkaline batteries.
  • If the remote control will not be used for an extended period (e.g., several weeks or months), remove the batteries to prevent leakage and potential damage to the device.
