6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your Coswheel M20.
6.1 Cleaning
Clean the e-bike regularly with a damp cloth. Avoid using high-pressure water jets directly on electrical components. Dry thoroughly after cleaning.
6.2 Tire Pressure
Check tire pressure before each ride. Maintain the recommended pressure (usually indicated on the tire sidewall) for optimal performance and safety. The 20" x 4.0 fat tires are designed for various terrains.
6.3 Brakes
Regularly inspect brake pads for wear and brake cables/hoses for damage. Ensure brakes are responsive and properly adjusted. If you notice any issues, have them serviced by a qualified technician.
6.4 Chain and Drivetrain
Keep the chain clean and lubricated to ensure smooth gear changes and prevent wear. Inspect the gears and chain for any damage or excessive wear.
6.5 Battery Care
Store the battery in a cool, dry place. If storing for an extended period, charge it to 50-70% and recharge every 2-3 months to prevent deep discharge. Avoid exposing the battery to extreme temperatures.
6.6 General Inspection
Periodically check all bolts, nuts, and fasteners for tightness. Ensure the frame (6061 Aluminum Alloy) and suspension components are free from cracks or damage.
