2. Safety Information

5.2 LCD HD Display Screen

6. Setup

6.1 Wiring Diagrams

The PowMr POW-SunSmart 10K supports both Split-Phase and Single-Phase configurations. Ensure all wiring is done by a qualified electrician.

Split-Phase Mode (120V/240V)

Notice: The open circuit voltage of PV panels in series connection must be below 500V. Over-voltage will cause damage to the inverter. Damage caused by improper configuration is not covered by warranty.

Single-Phase Mode (120V)

6.2 Battery Compatibility

The inverter is compatible with 48V Lead-acid and Lithium batteries. It also supports batteryless operation, where the inverter can power loads directly from the PV array or AC grid without a battery connected. The battery charging current setting range is 0-200A.

A dual activation function allows the inverter to trigger the activation of a dormant Li-ion battery via either mains or photovoltaic power supply access.

7. Operating Instructions

7.1 Time-Slot Charging/Discharging Function

The POW-SunSmart series is equipped with a time-slot charging and discharging function, allowing users to set different charging and discharging periods according to local peak and valley tariffs. This optimizes the use of utility power and PV energy, helping to save electricity costs.

Notice: Before using this function for the first time, please set the local time in parameter items 54, 55. Then, you can set the corresponding time slot according to the local peak and valley tariff charges.

7.2 Display Navigation and Settings

Use the touchable keys (SET, UP/DOWN, ENTER) on the LCD display to navigate through menus and adjust parameters. Refer to the detailed diagram in Section 5.2 for key functions.

8. Maintenance

8.1 Detachable Insect-Proof Screen

The inverter features a detachable insect-proof screen to prevent insects from entering and causing internal damage. Regularly clean the screen to maintain proper airflow and prevent overheating.

8.2 Intelligent Cooling Fans

Equipped with four cooling fans, the inverter ensures efficient heat dissipation and stable operation. Keep the fan vents clear of obstructions to allow for proper airflow.

  • No Power: Check all AC input, DC battery, and PV connections. Ensure the ON/OFF rocker switch is in the 'ON' position.
