4. Setup and Installation
Follow these steps to assemble your PC components within the C3 T500 case. Always ensure your system is powered off and unplugged before handling components.
4.1 Accessing the Interior
The C3 T500 features a quick-release buckle structure for its side panels and top cover, allowing for easy access without tools.
- Gently pull the side panels or top cover to release the buckles.
- Remove the desired panel to begin installation.

4.2 Motherboard Installation
The C3 T500 supports ATX, M-ATX, and Mini-ITX motherboards. It also supports back-inserted motherboards for a cleaner front aesthetic.
- Identify the correct standoffs for your motherboard form factor (ATX, M-ATX, or Mini-ITX). Install any necessary standoffs if they are not pre-installed.
- Carefully place your motherboard onto the standoffs, aligning the screw holes.
- Secure the motherboard with the appropriate screws from the accessory box.
- For back-inserted motherboards: Be aware that installing a back-inserted M-ATX/YTX motherboard may prevent the installation of the front audio interface. Plan your audio connections accordingly.

4.3 Power Supply Unit (PSU) Installation
The PSU is mounted at the top of the chassis and supports units up to 200mm in length.
- Locate the PSU mounting bracket at the top rear of the case.
- Secure your ATX power supply unit to the bracket using the provided screws.
- Slide the PSU with the bracket into its designated position and secure it to the chassis.

4.4 Graphics Card (GPU) Installation
The C3 T500 supports graphics cards up to 400mm in length and features 6 PCI-e expansion slots.
- Remove the necessary PCI-e slot covers from the rear of the case.
- Insert your graphics card into the appropriate PCI-e slot on the motherboard.
- Secure the graphics card to the chassis with screws.

4.5 Storage Drive Installation
The case provides 2 x 3.5" HDD bays and 2 x 2.5" SSD bays.
- Locate the drive bays, typically behind the motherboard tray or at the bottom of the case.
- Mount your 3.5" HDDs and 2.5" SSDs into their respective trays or mounting points using the provided screws.
- Slide the trays back into position and secure them.
4.6 Fan and Radiator Installation
The C3 T500 offers extensive support for fans and water cooling radiators. Refer to the 'Specifications' section for detailed fan and radiator size compatibility for the upper cover, rear panel, main board, and bottom plate.
- Identify the desired mounting locations for your fans or radiators.
- Secure fans directly to the chassis using fan screws.
- For radiators, mount the radiator to the chassis first, then attach the fans to the radiator.

4.7 Front I/O Panel Connections
Connect the cables from the top-mounted I/O panel to the corresponding headers on your motherboard.
- USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-C: Connect to the motherboard's internal Type-C header.
- USB 3.0: Connect to the motherboard's internal USB 3.0 headers.
- MIC & AUDIO: Connect to the motherboard's HD Audio header.
- RESET & POWER: Connect the small individual pins to the motherboard's front panel headers according to your motherboard manual.

5. Operation
Once all components are installed and connected, and the side panels are re-secured, your PC is ready for operation.
- Power Button: Press the power button on the top I/O panel to turn your computer on or off.
- Reset Button: Use the reset button for a quick system restart if needed.
- USB Ports: Utilize the USB 3.0 and Type-C ports for connecting peripherals and external storage devices.
- Audio Jacks: Plug in your headphones or microphone into the dedicated MIC and AUDIO jacks.

6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance helps ensure optimal performance and longevity of your PC components.
- Dust Cleaning: Periodically remove the side panels and top cover to clean accumulated dust from inside the case and on components. Use compressed air or a soft brush.
- Cable Management: Ensure cables are neatly routed to maintain good airflow and prevent obstruction.
- Exterior Cleaning: Wipe the exterior surfaces, including the glass panels, with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals that may damage the finish.
7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues during or after installation, consider the following common troubleshooting steps:
- PC Not Powering On: Double-check all power connections, including the 24-pin ATX, 8-pin CPU, and GPU power cables. Ensure the power button cable is correctly connected to the motherboard.
- Components Not Detected: Verify that all components (GPU, RAM, storage drives) are properly seated in their slots and securely connected.
- Overheating: Ensure all fans are spinning correctly and installed in the correct orientation for optimal airflow. Check for any obstructions to air intake or exhaust.
- Front I/O Not Working: Confirm that the USB and audio cables from the front panel are correctly plugged into the motherboard headers.
- Panel Removal Difficulty: If a quick-release panel is stiff, ensure no cables or components are obstructing its movement. Apply gentle, even pressure.
8. User Tips
- Cooling Solution: Remember that the C3 T500 case does not include fans or water cooling equipment. Plan and purchase your cooling solution (fans, AIO liquid coolers, custom loops) separately based on your component's thermal requirements and the case's extensive support.
- Cable Management: Utilize the ample space behind the motherboard tray for effective cable management. This improves airflow and enhances the aesthetic appeal through the panoramic glass panels.
- Motherboard Compatibility: If using a back-inserted M-ATX/YTX motherboard, be aware that the front audio interface may not be installable. Consider alternative audio solutions or a conventional motherboard if front audio is critical.
