- Turn off the handheld printer.
- Remove the ink cartridge from the printer.
- Clean the nozzle with alcohol.
- Cover the nozzle with its protective cap.
- Store the cartridge with the nozzle upright in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight.
Note: Always cover the nozzle with the protective cover when finished printing to effectively protect the nozzle from clogging and prolong the life of the machine.

6. Troubleshooting
6.1. Solution of Common Problems
- Q: What is the difference between water-based ink and solvent ink?
A: Water-based ink supports non-coated materials like matte cartons and fabrics. Solvent ink supports both porous and non-porous surfaces such as plastics, glass, metal, pipe, stone, wood board, MDF, aluminum foil, cable, leather, and carton. All Phezer handheld inkjet printers use original HP solvent ink cartridges.
- Q: What's the capacity of an ink cartridge? How long can I use it?
A: Cartridges come in 47mL and 72mL capacities, depending on the nozzle size. A cartridge can print more than 800,000 characters (2mm x 2mm). Cartridge life varies based on usage; it can last less than a month with frequent use or up to a year with rare use.
- Q: What's the height range of the font?
A: Printing height is 2-12.7 mm (0.08-0.5 inch). It supports 1-5 lines of print with adjustable printing height. You can combine multiple content elements by selecting text, clicking edit to adjust font size, and dragging to the desired position.
- Q: What fonts does it include? Can the size be adjusted?
A: The printer includes 20 fonts with adjustable size, including physical and bitmap fonts. You can directly input Chinese, English, date, bar number, variable batch code, QR code, or barcode via the screen without connecting to a computer. Images (like logos) need to be uploaded via a USB disk. Up to 200 messages can be saved in the machine.
- Q: Can we erase the print?
A: No ink is indelible. Most ink can be cleaned up with alcohol. The ease of removal depends on the material's adhesive force to the ink. Bright surfaces are generally easier to wipe clean, while matte and frosted surfaces are more difficult.
7. User Tips
- Ink Cartridge Availability: Always ensure you have spare ink cartridges, especially if you use the printer frequently. Check with the seller for compatible cartridges.
- Language Support: The printer supports multiple languages, including Arabic. Verify your desired language is available in the settings.
- Printing on Various Surfaces: The printer is capable of printing on diverse materials like nylon bags and shrink tubes, making it versatile for different applications.
- Print Content Layout: When printing manufacturing dates, expiration dates, and lot numbers, utilize the "Add Interface" to arrange these elements effectively. The adjustable font height (2-12.7mm) allows for clear and concise labeling.
