Important Safety Information
- Electrical Installation: Installation should only be performed by a qualified electrician or in accordance with local electrical codes. Ensure power is disconnected at the circuit breaker before beginning any wiring.
- Motor Compatibility: This switch is designed for AC motors with 4 wires (Blue Wire, Brown Wire, Black Wire, Green/Yellow Wire). It is not compatible with DC motors. Verify your motor type before installation.
- Voltage: The input and output voltage is 100-250 VAC, 50/60Hz.
- Moisture: The tempered glass touch panel is moisture-proof, allowing safe operation even with wet hands. However, avoid direct exposure to water or excessive humidity.
- RF Remote Compatibility: The RF curtain remote included is specifically designed to work with the RF + WiFi version of this roller shutter switch. Other RF remotes may not be compatible.

Installation Guide
1. Wiring the Curtain Switch
- Safety First: Before starting, ensure the main power supply to the circuit is turned OFF at the circuit breaker.
- Identify Wires: Locate the Neutral Wire, L1 (Live 1), L2 (Live 2), and Earth Wire from your motor and wall box. This switch requires a 4-wire AC motor.
- Connect Wires: Connect the corresponding wires from your motor and power supply to the terminals on the back of the QCSMART switch.

2. App Setup (Tuya Smart / Smart Life)
- Download App: Download the "Tuya Smart" or "Smart Life" app from your smartphone's app store (available for Android and iOS).
- Register/Login: Register for a new account or log in if you already have one.
- Add Device: In the app, tap the "+" icon to add a new device. Select "Curtain Switch" or "Shutter Switch" from the device list.
- Pairing Mode: Follow the in-app instructions to put the switch into pairing mode (usually involves pressing and holding a button on the switch until an indicator light flashes).
- Connect to Wi-Fi: Ensure your phone is connected to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network (5GHz networks are not supported). Enter your Wi-Fi password in the app.
- Complete Setup: The app will detect and connect to the switch. Once connected, you can rename the device and assign it to a room.
3. RF Remote Pairing
The included 3-button RF remote control can be paired with the switch for local control.
- Enter Pairing Mode: Refer to the specific instructions in the app or the switch's quick start guide for how to put the switch into RF pairing mode. This often involves a short press or sequence of presses on the switch.

5. Backlight Function
The switch features a backlight that can be controlled via the app.
- Manual Control: Turn the backlight ON or OFF directly from the app interface.
- Scheduled Control: Set a schedule in the app to automatically turn the backlight ON or OFF at specific times, preventing disturbance during sleep.
6. Running Time Setting
Customize the running time of your blinds through the app to suit different sizes of blinds.
- Adjust Duration: The running time can be set from 1 to 120 seconds. This is particularly useful for large blinds to ensure they fully open or close.

7. Timer and Schedules

User Tips
- Wi-Fi Network: Always ensure your Wi-Fi network is 2.4GHz for stable connectivity. If you have a dual-band router, ensure the 2.4GHz band is enabled and your phone is connected to it during setup.
- Motor Check: Double-check your motor's wiring (4 wires: Blue, Brown, Black, Green/Yellow) and ensure it's an AC motor before purchasing or installing to avoid compatibility issues.
- RF Remote Placement: Use the provided wall bracket and double-sided adhesive tape to conveniently mount your RF remote near your blinds for easy access.
- Voice Command Clarity: When using voice control, speak clearly and ensure your smart speaker (Alexa/Google Home) is within hearing range.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: To clean the glass touch panel, gently wipe it with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the surface.
- Firmware Updates: Periodically check the Tuya Smart/Smart Life app for any available firmware updates for your switch. Updates can improve performance and add new features.
- Battery Replacement (Remote): The RF remote uses a CR2032 coin battery. If the remote's performance degrades, replace the battery with a new CR2032.
Troubleshooting
- Switch is not responding:
- Check if the power supply to the switch is active.
- Ensure wiring is correct and secure.
- If using the app, check your Wi-Fi connection and ensure the switch is online.
- If using the RF remote, check the remote's battery.
- Blinds are not moving or moving incorrectly:
- Verify that your motor is an AC 4-wire motor and compatible with the switch.
- Check the motor's connections to the switch (L1, L2).
- Adjust the "Running Time Setting" in the app if the blinds are not fully opening or closing.
- Cannot connect to Wi-Fi:
- Ensure your Wi-Fi network is 2.4GHz. The switch does not support 5GHz Wi-Fi.
- Make sure your phone is connected to the 2.4GHz network during the pairing process.
- Check if the Wi-Fi signal strength is adequate at the switch's location.
- Restart your Wi-Fi router and try pairing again.
- Ensure the switch is in pairing mode (indicator light flashing).
- Voice control is not working:
