2. Setup and Installation
Before installation, please ensure the device is handled carefully. The machine comes with a protective film to prevent damage during transport. It is recommended to test the camera quality by recording some videos before use.
2.1. Parts Identification
Refer to the diagram below for identifying the main components of your DVR.

2.2. General Installation Guidelines
- Use only the original power supply. Using other brands may damage or burn the equipment.
- Install the unit near the rearview mirror to maximize wide-angle landscape recording.
- Ensure the lens is within the wiper range for clear recording even in rain.
- Do not touch the lens with fingers. Clean regularly with a soft cloth. Avoid chemical detergents, gasoline, alcohol, or antistatic sprays.
- This product is suitable for most cars. For trucks, consider the length of the car charger line.
- For a visual guide, scan the QR code in the original manual for an installation video. Professional installation by an auto mechanic is highly recommended.
2.3. Rear Camera Installation
To install the rear camera, connect its red cable wire to your car's reverse lamp's positive pole (+). Then, plug the car charger into the cigarette lighter to power the DVR. When you engage reverse gear, the car DVR will automatically switch to the rear camera view with parking lines, enabling the auto-reversing function.

There are different rear camera cable lengths available (6, 10, 15 meters) to suit various car sizes. Choose the appropriate length for your vehicle.

2.4. Hardwire Kit Installation (Optional)
If you wish to use the parking monitoring or motion detection function, a buck line (hardwire kit) is required to connect the video recorder to the car battery. This kit is sold separately.
To install the Hardwire Kit:
- Connect the negative pole (black line) of the Hardwire Kit to the ground of the car fuse box.
- For 24-hour parking monitoring (DVR works continuously), connect the positive pole (red line) of the Hardwire Kit to the BAT interface of the car fuse box.
- If you want the DVR to stop monitoring after parking, connect the positive pole of the Hardwire Kit to the fuse box ACC interface.

2.5. GPS Module Connection (Optional)
If you have purchased the optional GPS module, connect it to the DVR mirror. Once connected and the GPS receives satellite signals, the driving speed and compass will be displayed on the screen.

2.6. Memory Card
A Micro SD Card (Class 10, 16GB to 128GB) is required. Please format the SD card before first use, either on a computer or directly through the dash cam's settings. Insert the card correctly; there will be slight rebound resistance when it's properly inserted.
3. Operation
3.1. Power Button Functions
- Turn On: Press and hold the Power Button for 2 seconds. The video recorder will turn on and start working automatically.
- Turn Off: Press and hold the Power Button for 2 seconds. The video file and user settings will be automatically saved, and the video recorder will shut down.
- Turn On/Off Display: While powered on, press the Power Button briefly to turn the display black. Press again to turn the display back on.
3.2. Main Interface and Touch Controls
The main interface displays real-time video, speed, date, and time. It also provides touch buttons for various functions.

- Locking (EMR Emergency): In video mode, tap the lock icon to add 20 seconds to the current video as a locked file. Tap the unlock icon to unlock.
- Audio Switch: Tap the audio icon to turn recording audio on or off. Settings are saved automatically.
- Video Recording: The default icon changes between video and non-video states. Tap to change the video status.
- Take Photo: Tap the camera icon to take a photo while recording.
3.3. Screen Operations
- Slide Up and Down: Dragging up or down changes the display position of the current camera video screen. This operation is saved.
- Slide Left and Right: Sliding left or right changes the video display source. The default is the front view camera. The order cycles through front view, rear view, split screen (front left, rear right), and back to front view.
- Brightness Adjustment: If sliding left/right in the brightness area, sliding right increases brightness, and sliding left decreases it.
3.4. Playback Interface
From the main interface, tap the 'Playback' icon to enter the playback interface.
- File List: Displays a list of recorded files.
- Video File Mode: Tap to view normal recording files. Front and rear camera files are saved in "front_norm" and "back_norm" folders on the SD card.
- Locked File Mode: Tap to view locked video files. Locked files are saved in "front_emr" and "back_emr" folders.
- Photo File Mode: Tap to view and save photo files. Photos are saved in "front_photo" and "back_photo" folders.
- Front and Rear Camera Switching: Switch between front and rear camera files within the current file.
- Delete: Select a file and tap the delete icon to remove it.
- Files within the Grid: Swipe up and down to select files. Tapping a file enters the playback interface.
- Return: Returns to the main interface.
- Select All: Selects all files.
3.5. WiFi Function
The DVR has built-in WiFi. Enable WiFi in the settings interface. A white WiFi icon will appear. It turns green when connected to the mobile app. You can download the companion app by scanning the QR code found in the WiFi settings menu.

3.6. GPS Function
When the optional GPS module is plugged in, a white GPS icon appears. It turns green when a signal is received, and the GPS speed will be displayed. This allows you to record your driving route, location, and speed, which can be viewed on a GPS player on a computer.

3.7. Advanced Recording Features
- Loop Recording: When enabled, the oldest video files are overwritten by new recordings once the memory card is full. Locked files (triggered by G-Sensor or Parking Monitor) are protected from being overwritten.
- Parking Monitor: With the parking monitor activated (requires hardwire kit), the dash camera automatically turns on and records for 24 hours if it detects vibration.
- G-Sensor: Automatically detects sudden shakes/collisions and locks the footage to prevent overwriting, ensuring accident scenes are preserved.
- WDR Dynamic Light Processing: Enhances image quality in varying light conditions, reducing glare and dimming for clearer recordings.
- Time Lapse Recording: Records video at a reduced frame rate (0.5, 1, or 5 frames per second) to save storage space, suitable for extended parking monitoring. This feature requires the ACC function to be turned on and a hardwire kit.

4. Maintenance
- Lens Cleaning: Regularly clean the camera lenses with a soft cloth to remove dust and finger oils. Avoid using chemical detergents, gasoline, alcohol, or antistatic sprays.
- Memory Card: Format the Micro SD card periodically to ensure optimal performance and prevent data corruption.
5. Troubleshooting
This section addresses common issues you might encounter with your Acceo Car DVR.
- Dash cam does not turn on:
- Plug in the car charger and press the On-Off key for about 3 seconds.
- Charge the dash cam for about 5 minutes, then manually restore factory settings.
- Press the Reset button (via pin) to restore factory settings.
- Dash cam turns on or off automatically:
- The dash cam requires continuous power from the car charger. The built-in battery is small and primarily for parking monitor mode.
- Ensure you are using a Class 10 or above Micro SD Card and format it before use.
- Product cannot read the card:
- Use a genuine Class 10 or above Micro SD Card.
- Format the SD Card on a computer before use, then insert it correctly (slight rebound resistance indicates correct insertion).
- Video function cannot be used normally:
- Format the micro SD card in the dash cam before use. Support 16GB/32GB/64GB/128GB micro SD card, Class 10 or above.
- Product not working normally after a period:
- Excessive locked files due to high G-sensor sensitivity can prevent loop recording. Manually delete locked files.
- Adjust G-sensor sensitivity from High to Medium or Low.
- Use motion detection only when not driving.
- Rear camera does not work:
- Check if the rear camera is connected properly and securely.
- Image from rear camera is upside down:
- Adjust the rear camera's installation direction.
- Screen turns black after about one minute:
- The Screen Dormant function is likely enabled in settings. Turn it off.
- Cannot set date and time correctly:
- Ensure sufficient power. Access system settings, find date and time option, set it, then manually turn off the dash cam to save.
- Product automatically heats up:
- Prolonged use or high car temperatures can cause heating.
- Recorded image is not clear:
- Remove protective films from both front and rear camera lenses.
- Ensure the windshield is clean.
- Button sound is noisy:
- Select "OFF" for the operation voice (OFF/ON) button in the system settings.
