  • This product is suitable for most cars. For trucks, consider the length of the car charger line.
  • For a visual guide, scan the QR code in the original manual for an installation video. Professional installation by an auto mechanic is highly recommended.

2.3. Rear Camera Installation

To install the rear camera, connect its red cable wire to your car's reverse lamp's positive pole (+). Then, plug the car charger into the cigarette lighter to power the DVR. • G-Sensor: Automatically detects sudden shakes/collisions and locks the footage to prevent overwriting, ensuring accident scenes are preserved.
  • WDR Dynamic Light Processing: Enhances image quality in varying light conditions, reducing glare and dimming for clearer recordings.
  • Time Lapse Recording: Records video at a reduced frame rate (0.5, 1, or 5 frames per second) to save storage space, suitable for extended parking monitoring. This feature requires the ACC function to be turned on and a hardwire kit.

5. Troubleshooting

This section addresses common issues you might encounter with your Acceo Car DVR.

  1. Dash cam does not turn on:
    • Plug in the car charger and press the On-Off key for about 3 seconds.
    • Charge the dash cam for about 5 minutes, then manually restore factory settings.
    • Press the Reset button (via pin) to restore factory settings.
  2. Dash cam turns on or off automatically:
    • The dash cam requires continuous power from the car charger. The built-in battery is small and primarily for parking monitor mode.
    • Ensure you are using a Class 10 or above Micro SD Card and format it before use.
  3. Product cannot read the card:
    • Use a genuine Class 10 or above Micro SD Card.
    • Format the SD Card on a computer before use, then insert it correctly (slight rebound resistance indicates correct insertion).
  4. Video function cannot be used normally:
    • Format the micro SD card in the dash cam before use. Support 16GB/32GB/64GB/128GB micro SD card, Class 10 or above.
  5. Product not working normally after a period:
    • Excessive locked files due to high G-sensor sensitivity can prevent loop recording. Manually delete locked files.
    • Adjust G-sensor sensitivity from High to Medium or Low.
    • Use motion detection only when not driving.
  6. Rear camera does not work:
    • Check if the rear camera is connected properly and securely.
  7. Image from rear camera is upside down:
    • Adjust the rear camera's installation direction.
  8. Screen turns black after about one minute:
    • The Screen Dormant function is likely enabled in settings. Turn it off.
  9. Cannot set date and time correctly:
    • Ensure sufficient power. Access system settings, find date and time option, set it, then manually turn off the dash cam to save.
  10. Product automatically heats up:
    • Prolonged use or high car temperatures can cause heating.
  11. Recorded image is not clear:
    • Remove protective films from both front and rear camera lenses.
    • Ensure the windshield is clean.
  12. Button sound is noisy:
    • Select "OFF" for the operation voice (OFF/ON) button in the system settings.
