3. Setup Guide

3.1 Camera Components

3.2 NVR System Connection Diagram

  1. Connect the NVR to its power adapter.
  2. Connect the NVR to a monitor via VGA or HD port.
  3. Connect a USB mouse to the NVR for navigation.
  4. Connect the NVR to your WiFi router using a network cable for internet access.
  5. Power on each IP camera using its dedicated power supply.
  6. Ensure all cameras are within range of the NVR's WiFi signal.
  7. For remote viewing, ensure your NVR is connected to the internet and configure the mobile application (iCsee/XMeye).

3.3 TF Card Installation (for standalone camera use)

The camera supports up to 128GB TF (Micro SD) card storage for local recording when used independently without an NVR.

  1. Locate the TF card slot on the camera body. This is typically found by unscrewing a small cover.
  2. Carefully insert the TF card into the slot until it clicks into place.
  3. Replace the cover securely to maintain the camera's IP66 weatherproof rating.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Mobile App Remote Viewing

The camera system supports P2P remote access via the iCsee/XMeye app on Android and iOS devices.

  1. Download the "iCsee" or "XMeye" app from the Apple App Store or Google Play.
  2. Register an account and log in.
  3. Add your camera/NVR device by scanning the QR code on the device or manually entering its ID.
  4. Once added, you can view live video, access recorded footage, and configure settings from anywhere.

4.2 Two-Way Audio Communication

The cameras are equipped with a built-in microphone and speaker, enabling real-time two-way audio communication.

  1. In the mobile app's live view, locate the microphone icon to speak through the camera's speaker.
  2. The camera's microphone will capture audio from its surroundings.

4.3 Night Vision Modes

The camera offers three night vision modes:

  • Infrared Night Vision: Standard black and white night vision using infrared LEDs.
  • Dual Warning Lights: When motion is detected at night, the white LED lights illuminate as a deterrent and provide color video.
  • Full Color Night Vision: Provides full-color video at night when the white LEDs are continuously lit.

4.4 Smart AI Human Motion Detection

The camera system features intelligent human detection to reduce false alarms.

  1. Configure the alarm area in the app settings.
  2. When a human body is detected in the defined alarm area, the camera will trigger an alarm (light, siren, email alert, app push notification).
  3. The system is designed to ignore non-human activities like animals, cars, or insects to increase alarm accuracy.

4.5 Video Playback

Access recorded footage through the mobile app's smart playback feature.

  1. Open the app and select the camera/NVR.
  2. Navigate to the playback section.
  3. Use the timeline to select the desired recording period. The smart playback feature allows for faster review by skipping unimportant segments.

5. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Regularly clean the camera lens with a soft, dry cloth to ensure clear image quality. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
  • Firmware Updates: Check for and install firmware updates periodically through the mobile app or NVR interface to ensure optimal performance and security.
  • Power Supply: Ensure the camera and NVR are connected to stable power sources. Avoid frequent power interruptions.
  • Cable Management: Secure all cables to prevent damage and ensure a stable connection.
  • Storage Management: If using a TF card, periodically check its storage capacity and format it if necessary to maintain recording efficiency. For NVR systems, ensure the HDD has sufficient space.

6. Troubleshooting
