Maintenance

  • Cleaning Keycaps: Use the provided keycap puller to remove keycaps. Clean them with a soft cloth dampened with mild soap and water. Ensure they are completely dry before reattaching.
  • Cleaning the Keyboard Body: Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe down the keyboard body. For stubborn dirt, a slightly damp cloth can be used, but avoid excessive moisture.
  • Dust Removal: Use compressed air to remove dust and debris from between the keycaps and switches.
  • Switch Care: If switches feel gritty or inconsistent, they can be removed using the switch puller and lubricated with a specialized switch lubricant. This is an advanced maintenance step and should only be performed if you are comfortable with the process.
  • Storage: When not in use for extended periods, store the keyboard in a dry, dust-free environment.

Troubleshooting

  • Keyboard not responding:
    • Check the connection mode switch (USB, 2.4G, BT) to ensure it matches your desired connection.
    • For wired mode, ensure the USB-C cable is securely connected to both the keyboard and the computer. Try a different USB port or cable.
    • For 2.4GHz wireless, ensure the USB dongle is securely plugged in and the keyboard is set to 2.4G mode. Try re-pairing if necessary.
    • For Bluetooth, ensure the keyboard is paired to the correct channel (Fn+Q/W/E) and your device's Bluetooth is enabled. Try re-pairing.
    • Check battery level. If low, connect the USB-C cable to charge.
    • Wake the keyboard from hibernation by pressing any key twice.
  • Backlight not working or inconsistent:
    • Ensure the backlight is not turned off (check Fn key combinations for backlight control).
    • Check battery level; low battery can affect backlight performance.
    • Try resetting the backlight effects (e.g., cycle through effects with Fn+|).
  • Keys not registering or double-typing:
    • Remove the keycap and switch for the affected key. Inspect the switch pins for bending or damage. Reinsert or replace the switch.
    • Clean any debris from around the switch socket.
  • Bluetooth connection issues:
    • Ensure no other Bluetooth devices are causing interference.
    • Forget the keyboard from your device's Bluetooth settings and re-pair.
    • Ensure the keyboard is within range of your device.

User Tips

  • Switching Devices: Utilize the three Bluetooth channels (Fn+Q/W/E) to quickly switch between your computer, tablet, and phone without re-pairing.
  • Optimizing Battery Life: If you don't require constant backlighting, turning it off can significantly extend the keyboard's battery life. Remember the automatic sleep and hibernation features.
  • Customizing Your Experience: Experiment with different 3-pin switches to find the typing feel that best suits your preference, thanks to the hot-swappable design.
  • Ergonomic Comfort: Adjust the kickstand feet to find the most comfortable typing angle for your wrists and hands.
