Setup and Initial Charge

Before first use, fully charge your UTRAI JS-8 Jump Starter.

Charging the Jump Starter

1. Connect the provided USB-C charging cable to the USB-C Input Port on the jump starter.
2. Connect the other end of the cable to a suitable USB wall adapter (not included) or car charger.
3. The 3" Informative Display will show the charging status and battery percentage.
4. Charge until the display shows 100%.

Important: To protect battery life, it is recommended to charge the JS-8 every 3 months, even if not in use.

Operating Instructions

Jump Starting a Vehicle

The UTRAI JS-8 is designed to safely jump start 12V vehicles with up to 10.0L gas engines or 8.0L diesel engines.

1. Prepare the Vehicle: Ensure your vehicle's ignition is off and all accessories (lights, radio, etc.) are turned off. Open the hood.
2. Connect the Smart Clamps:
   • Plug the blue end of the smart clamp cable firmly into the EC5 Output Port on the jump starter. Ensure a secure connection.
   • Connect the RED (+) clamp to the positive (+) terminal of your vehicle's battery.
   • Connect the BLACK (-) clamp to the negative (-) terminal of your vehicle's battery.
3. Check Indicator: The smart clamp has an indicator light. A solid green light indicates a correct connection and that the jump starter is ready. If you see a red light or hear an alarm, check the connections and ensure there are no short circuits or reverse polarity.
4. Start the Vehicle: Once the smart clamp indicator is solid green, return to your vehicle and start the engine.
5. Remove Clamps: As soon as the engine starts, immediately remove the smart clamps from the car battery, then disconnect the smart clamp cable from the jump starter.

Using as a Power Bank

The JS-8 features two USB output ports to charge your electronic devices.

• USB 1 Output (5V/3A, 9V/2A, 12V/1.5A): Supports fast charging for compatible devices.
• USB 2 Output (5V/2.1A): Standard charging for various devices.

Connect your device's charging cable to the appropriate USB output port on the jump starter. The jump starter will automatically begin charging your device. For faster charging, use USB 1 port when charging a single device.

Using the LED Light

The JS-8 is equipped with a 3-mode bright LED light for various situations:

• Normal Illumination: Press the LED light button once to turn on the light.
• Strobe Mode: Press the button again for strobe light.
