Setup

1. Installation

The camera supports various installation methods including side mounting and ceiling mounting. Choose the most suitable location for optimal surveillance coverage.

The camera can be mounted on a wall or ceiling. Ensure a stable surface and proper alignment.

The left and right bullet cameras can be manually adjusted 180 degrees horizontally and vertically to cover specific areas. Use a screwdriver to loosen the adjustment screw, position the lens, and then tighten the screw to secure it.

2. Connection

The camera supports both wireless (2.4GHz WiFi) and wired (RJ-45 network cable) connections.

• Wireless Connection: Connect the camera to your 2.4GHz WiFi network. (5G WiFi is not supported).
• Wired Connection: Use an RJ-45 network cable to connect the camera directly to your router.

Download the IPC360 HOME app from your mobile app store (Android or iOS) to set up and control your camera.

Operating Instructions

1. Three-Screen Monitoring & PTZ Control

The camera provides real-time monitoring across three screens within the app. The main screen displays the view from the PTZ pan-tilt camera, while the other two screens show views from the fixed-position bullet cameras. You can tap on a fixed-position camera's view in the app to make the PTZ camera move to that specific area and zoom in (for 8K models).

Remotely control the PTZ camera's pan (355° horizontal) and tilt (90° vertical) movements through the mobile app to monitor any desired area. The bullet cameras can be manually adjusted 180° horizontally and vertically for broader coverage.

2. Optical Zoom (8K Camera Only)

For the 8K camera model, you can achieve 10X optical zoom through the mobile app. This allows you to zoom in and out on objects for more detailed observation.

3. Night Vision Modes

The camera offers three distinct image modes for day and night surveillance:

• Infrared Mode: Provides clear black and white images in low light or darkness using infrared LEDs. White LEDs are off.
• Full Color Night Vision Mode: Activates white LEDs to provide full-color images even at night.
• Smart Mode: Automatically switches between infrared and color modes based on detected motion or light conditions.

4. Motion Detection & Automatic Tracking

The camera supports 24/7 motion detection and can identify humanoids, vehicles, and pets (requires cloud storage subscription). Upon detection, the camera will automatically track the movement, emit white light, and send real-time alerts to your mobile phone.

5. Two-Way Audio

6. Video Recording & Storage

The camera supports local storage via a TF (microSD) card up to 128GB. You can also opt for cloud storage services (paid subscription required) to securely save your video recordings.

• Cleaning: Regularly wipe the camera lenses with a soft, clean cloth to remove dust and smudges. Avoid using harsh chemicals that could damage the lens coating.
• Power Connection: Periodically check all power and network cable connections to ensure they are secure and free from damage.
• Firmware Updates: Keep the camera's firmware updated through the IPC360 HOME app to benefit from the latest features and security enhancements.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your camera, refer to the following common problems and solutions:

• Camera Not Connecting to Network:
  • Ensure your WiFi network is 2.4GHz. The camera does not support 5G WiFi.
  • Check if the camera is within range of your router.
  • Verify that the WiFi password entered in the app is correct.
  • If using a wired connection, ensure the RJ-45 cable is securely plugged into both the camera and the router.
  • Restart the camera and your router.
• Poor Image Quality:
  • Clean the camera lenses to remove any dirt or dust.
  • Ensure sufficient lighting in the monitored area, especially for color night vision.
  • Check your internet connection speed; a slow connection can affect streaming quality.
• Motion Detection Not Working:
  • Verify that motion detection is enabled in the IPC360 HOME app settings.
  • Adjust the motion detection sensitivity.
  • Ensure the camera's field of view is clear of obstructions.
  • Note that advanced AI functions (humanoid, vehicle, pet detection) require a cloud storage subscription.
• No Two-Way Audio:
  • Check the volume settings on your mobile device and within the app.
  • Ensure there are no obstructions blocking the camera's microphone or speaker.
  • Verify your internet connection is stable.
• Compatibility Note: This camera does not support ONVIF protocol for integration with NVRs or DVRs. A PC client is also not supported; all operations are via the mobile app.
