Safety Precautions
Always observe the following safety guidelines to prevent injury or damage:
- Ensure the charger is used indoors and protected from rain.
- Verify the battery's voltage and capacity (Ah) before connecting to ensure compatibility.
- Connect the battery terminals correctly: Red clip to positive (+), Black clip to negative (-).

Setup
Follow these steps to set up your EAFC Smart Battery Charger:
- Plug in the Charger: Connect the battery charger's power cord into a suitable AC power source (100-240V AC, 50-60Hz).
- Connect to Battery: Attach the red positive (+) clamp to the positive terminal of the battery and the black negative (-) clamp to the negative terminal of the battery. Ensure a secure connection.
- Select Charging Mode: Press the 'MODE' button on the charger's control panel to select the appropriate charging mode for your battery type and desired current. The digital display will show the selected mode.
- Automatic Charging: Once the mode is selected, the charger will automatically begin the charging process.

Operating Modes and Features
Digital Display
The large digital display provides real-time information on detection, power, current, voltage, and temperature.

Charging Current and Mode Selection
The charger offers selectable charging currents and modes to suit various battery types and charging needs. Use the 'CURRENT' and 'MODE' buttons to cycle through options.

Booster Mode
This function is specifically for 12V batteries. When 'Booster' mode is selected, the charging current reaches its maximum value for 200 seconds. After 200 seconds, the display will show "on", indicating you can then attempt to start the car.

8-Stage Charging Process
The charger utilizes an 8-stage charging process designed for optimal battery health and longevity:
- Battery Desulphation: Breaks down lead sulphate crystals that build up on discharged batteries.
- Soft Start Charge: Gently introduces current to the battery.
- Bulk Charge: Charges the battery to approximately 80% capacity.
- Absorption Charge: Charges the battery to 100% at a decreasing current.
- Battery Test: Checks the battery's ability to hold a charge.
- Recondition Charge: Restores deeply discharged or sulfated batteries.
- Float & Maintenance Charging: Maintains the battery at full charge.
- Re-start Charge: Initiates a new charging cycle if the battery voltage drops.

Auto Temperature Detection
The charger automatically adjusts the charging voltage based on the ambient temperature, ensuring efficient and safe charging in different climates.
- Winter Mode: Activated at approximately -10°C.
- Summer Mode: Activated at approximately 28°C.

Maintenance
Pulse Reconditioning Battery Maintenance
The charger features pulse reconditioning to address common battery issues such as sulfation, inability to charge, and high internal resistance, helping to extend battery life.
