3. Device Layout and Controls
Familiarize yourself with the buttons and ports on your Q58 Max unit:

4. Setup and Installation
4.1 Initial Test
Before installing the headset into your helmet, it is highly recommended to connect the Q58 Max to your mobile phone and test the sound effect and volume. This allows you to verify functionality before permanent installation.
4.2 Charging the Device
The Q58 Max is equipped with a 1000mAh built-in battery. Use the provided Type-C charging cable to charge the device. A full charge takes approximately 2 hours.
- Connect the Type-C charging cable to the charging port on the Q58 Max and to a USB power source.
- The charging indicator (red light) will be continuously on during charging.
- The red light will turn off once the device is fully charged.
- Note: If the machine is turned on and you plug in the charger, the machine will automatically shut down to charge.

4.3 Helmet Installation
The Q58 Max features a split installation design for simple, convenient, and safe mounting on various helmet types (Modular, Motocross, Open face, Full Face, Flip Up Helmet, Universal).
- Attach the clip-on base or adhesive base to the side of your helmet.
- Slide the Q58 Max host unit onto the installed base.
- Carefully route the speaker microphone wires inside the helmet, ensuring the speakers are positioned correctly over your ears and the microphone is near your mouth.
- If you experience a significant difference in sound effect or volume after installation, adjust the speaker position inside the helmet.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Power On/Off
- Power On/Off: Press and hold the Power On/Off button for 3 seconds.
- Voice Announcement Language: When Bluetooth is disconnected, double-click the Power On/Off button to switch between English and Chinese voice announcements.
5.2 Bluetooth Connection
- When Bluetooth is not connected, the Bluetooth icon on the LCD display will flash slowly.
- Once successfully connected, the Bluetooth icon will be continuously on.
5.3 Intercom Function
The Q58 Max supports dual-mode intercom for two riders up to 500 meters apart.

5.3.1 Two-Machine Intercom Connection
- After both machines are powered on, short press the Intercom button on both devices to enter intercom mode.
- The intercom icon will flash slowly or quickly, accompanied by a tone "intercom receiving mode" or "intercom transmitting mode".
- To switch between receiving and transmitting modes, double-click the Intercom button.
- For pairing, one device needs to be in intercom transmitting mode, and the other in intercom receiving mode.
- Upon successful pairing, a tone "intercom connection" will be heard, enabling two-person intercom calls.
5.3.2 Intercom Reconnection
If two machines have been previously connected, after powering on, short press the Intercom button on both devices to enter intercom mode. The two machines will automatically reconnect (the intercom mode will remember the previous connection).
5.3.3 Intercom and Phone Calls
If the intercom is active and a phone call comes in (while Bluetooth is connected to your phone), the system will automatically switch to the phone call. After hanging up, the intercom connection will be restored.
5.4 Music Sharing
Share your music with another rider for a synchronized audio experience.

- After both devices are powered on, connect one mobile phone to one device via Bluetooth to play music.
- On both devices, short press the Music Sharing button to enter pairing mode. The music sharing icon will flash fast or slow, accompanied by a tone "intercom receiving mode" or "intercom transmitting mode".
- For successful music sharing, one device should be in music sharing transmitting mode, and the other in music sharing receiving mode.
- Upon successful pairing, the music sharing icon will show a successful connection, and a "music sharing connection successful" beep will be heard.
- If both devices are connected to Bluetooth to play music, both devices will hear each other's music and their own mobile phone player's music.
- Double-click the Music Sharing button to switch between music sharing transmitting mode and receiving mode.
5.5 Telephone Function
- Answer/Hang Up: Short press the Power On/Off button.
- Decline Call: Press the Power On/Off button for 2 seconds during an incoming call.
- Manual/Automatic Answer: Double-tap the Volume+ button to toggle between manual and automatic call answering.
- Endgame Replay/Cancel Call: Double-click the Power On/Off button for endgame replay or short press to cancel an outgoing call.
5.6 Music Playback (Bluetooth & SD Card)
- Play/Pause: Short press the Power On/Off button.
- Next Song: Short press the Next Song/Volume Up button.
- Previous Song: Short press the Previous Song/Volume Down button.
- Volume Up: Long press the Next Song/Volume Up button.
- Volume Down: Long press the Previous Song/Volume Down button.
5.6.1 Micro SD Card Playback
The Q58 Max supports Micro SD cards (4-32GB) for music playback.

- Insert a Micro SD card containing MP3 music files into the Micro SD card slot.
- Long press the Mode key to cycle to Micro SD card mode.
- Music playback controls are the same as Bluetooth mode.
- SD Card Music Sharing: Insert a valid SD card into one machine to play music, then follow the music sharing instructions (Section 5.4) to share the SD card music with another device.
- Card Reader Mode: When the device is powered on, insert a TF card, then connect the device to a computer via the USB cable. The device will automatically enter card reader mode, allowing you to copy or delete files on the computer.
5.7 FM Radio Function

- Enter FM Mode: Long press the Mode button to switch to FM mode (the display will show the FM signal icon).
- Auto Search & Save: Short press the Voice Assistant button to perform a fully automatic one-touch station search and automatic storage of stations.
- Switch Saved Stations: Short press the Next Song/Volume Up or Previous Song/Volume Down buttons to switch between saved stations.
- Mute/Play: Short press the Power On/Off button to mute or play in FM mode.
5.8 AI Voice Assistant

- Activate: Double-tap the Voice Assistant button (under successful Bluetooth pairing) to wake up the AI voice assistant.
- Deactivate: Long press the Voice Assistant button again to turn off the voice assistant.
5.9 LED Lighting

- Turn On/Off: Double-click the Voice Assistant button to turn on the LED light. This is simple and easy to use in dark or complex environments.

When both are connected successfully, the two audio streams can be mixed and output to the speaker. 5.11 EQ Personalized Sound

The device offers professional acoustic laboratory tuning with 6 preset sound effects (Natural, Rock, Popular, Classical, Jazz, Country) to suit different preferences. Double press the Mode key to switch between EQ sound profiles.
