1. Introduction

The Srihome SH051 is a high-performance 4MP PTZ (Pan-Tilt-Zoom) camera designed for comprehensive video surveillance. Featuring 5X optical zoom, dual-band 2.4G/5G Wi-Fi connectivity, AI auto-tracking, and IP65 waterproofing, this camera is suitable for both indoor and outdoor monitoring. It provides clear 2560x1440 resolution video, two-way audio, and multiple night vision modes to ensure reliable security day and night.

5.1 Powering On

1. Connect the power adapter to the camera's Power Port.
2. Plug the power adapter into a suitable power outlet.
3. The camera will perform a self-test by rotating up and down, left and right. This process takes approximately 30 seconds.

5.2 Connecting to Wi-Fi (SriHome App)

To connect your camera to Wi-Fi and access its features, follow these steps using the SriHome app:

1. Download and install the 'SriHome' app from your mobile device's app store (available for Android and iOS).
2. Open your phone's settings and connect to your desired 2.4GHz or 5GHz Wi-Fi network.
3. Open the SriHome app and tap 'Add Device'.
4. Scan the QR code located on the camera to add it.
5. Enter your Wi-Fi password and tap 'Next'.
6. Place your phone 10-30cm in front of the camera lens, displaying the QR code on your phone screen. The camera will scan the QR code.
7. Listen for a pairing beep from the camera. Once heard, tap 'Next' in the app.
8. Name your camera (e.g., 'Living Room Camera') and enter the default password (usually '888888').
9. The camera should now be successfully added and visible in your app.

5.3 Mounting the Camera

The SH051 camera is designed for wall-mounted installation. Use the provided screws and anchors to securely mount the bracket to a suitable surface. Ensure the camera has a clear line of sight and is within range of your Wi-Fi network.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 PTZ Control (Pan, Tilt, Zoom)

You can remotely control the camera's movement and zoom via the SriHome app:

• Pan: Rotate the camera horizontally up to 300°.
• Tilt: Adjust the camera vertically up to 90°.
• Optical Zoom: Utilize the 5X optical zoom (2.8mm-12mm focal length) to get closer details without losing image quality.

6.2 Two-Way Audio

The camera features a built-in microphone and speaker, enabling two-way communication. You can listen to the camera's surroundings and speak through the camera using the SriHome app.

8. Troubleshooting

• Camera not powering on: Check the power adapter and cable connections. Ensure the power outlet is functional.
• Cannot connect to Wi-Fi: Verify your Wi-Fi password. Ensure the camera is within range of your router. Try restarting both the camera and your router. Make sure you are connecting to the correct Wi-Fi band (2.4GHz or 5GHz).
• Poor video quality: Check your internet connection speed. Ensure the camera lens is clean. Adjust the resolution settings in the app if necessary.
• Motion detection not working: Verify that motion detection is enabled in the app settings. Adjust sensitivity levels and detection zones.
• Two-way audio issues: Ensure microphone and speaker permissions are granted to the SriHome app on your phone. Check volume settings in the app.
• Camera is offline: Check Wi-Fi connection. Restart the camera. If the issue persists, try re-adding the camera to the app.

• For optimal performance, place the camera in a location with strong Wi-Fi signal.
• Regularly check recorded footage and clear old data from the TF card to prevent it from filling up.
