1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing the Philips LED Headlamp. This versatile and intelligent headlamp is designed for various outdoor activities such as night running, cycling, adventure, mountaineering, night fishing, and camping. Featuring a bionic design, intelligent infrared sensing, and multiple lighting modes, it provides reliable illumination and convenience. Please read this manual carefully before use to ensure proper operation and maintenance.

2. Safety Information

  • Do not look directly into the LED light when it is on, as it may cause temporary vision impairment.
  • Keep the device away from water and extreme temperatures.
  • Do not attempt to disassemble or modify the headlamp, as this will void the warranty and may cause damage.
  • Ensure the charging port is dry before connecting the Type-C cable.
  • Keep out of reach of children.

4. Product Overview

The Philips LED Headlamp features a compact design with dual light sources and intuitive controls. It includes a power switch and an induction switch for versatile operation.

5. Setup and Installation

5.1 Head-Mounted Design

Attach the adjustable elastic headband to the headlamp. Place the headlamp on your head and adjust the strap for a comfortable and secure fit. The headlamp is designed to direct light straight to your target.

5.2 Clip Cap Design

Use the included cap clip to attach the headlamp to the brim of a hat. The headlamp can be rotated 140 degrees to adjust the angle of illumination, providing flexible lighting without obstructing your line of sight. This is particularly useful for night fishing.

5.3 Camping Lamp Design

The headlamp belt can be hung on a tree branch or inside a tent. For a softer, diffused light, a soft light cover (purchased separately) can be attached to transform it into a camping lamp, ideal for illuminating a larger area.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Dual Switch Mode

The headlamp features both a traditional power switch and an intelligent infrared induction switch.

6.2 Power Switch Operation

  1. Click to switch: Press the power switch to cycle through the main light modes: Low light → Medium bright → Highlight → Auxiliary lamp. After the auxiliary lamp, the next click will shut down the device.
  2. Double-click for SOS/Flash: Double-click the power switch in any state to activate the Flash mode (SOS). Double-click again to restore the previous lighting state.
  3. Long press for Warning Lights: Long press the power switch to turn on the red light of the auxiliary light. Subsequent long presses will cycle through Red light warning → Red and blue lights flash alternately.
  4. Shut down: To turn off the headlamp from any mode, either cycle through all modes until it turns off, or press and hold the power button for more than 10 seconds.

6.3 Infrared Induction Switch Operation

When the headlamp is working, click the induction switch to activate the infrared sensor. With the sensor active, you can control the power switch (on/off) by waving your hand within 20cm of the sensor. A double flash prompt indicates the sensor is active.

6.4 Available Lighting Modes

The headlamp offers 10 types of lighting modes for various situations:

  • Main light
  • Low brightness
  • Medium bright
  • Highlight
  • Auxiliary lamp
  • Flash
  • SOS
  • Auxiliary light red light
  • Red light warning
  • Red and blue warning (alternating)

7. Charging

The headlamp is equipped with a 1000mAh high-performance polymer lithium battery and supports Type-C direct charging. No need to disassemble the battery for charging, ensuring high efficiency and safety.

7.1 Charging Process

  1. Connect the Type-C charging cable to the headlamp's charging port.
  2. Connect the other end of the cable to a 5V 1A USB power adapter (not included).
  3. The charging time is approximately 3 hours for a full charge.

7.2 Smart Battery Reminder

The headlamp features a smart aperture reminder with dual-color halo intelligent display to easily identify the remaining battery level:

  • Green light: Electricity > 30%
  • Red light: Electricity 30% - 10%
  • Red light flashes: Power < 10%

8. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Wipe the headlamp with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Storage: Store the headlamp in a cool, dry place when not in use. If storing for an extended period, charge the battery every 3-6 months to maintain battery health.
  • Headband: The Philips custom headlamp belt is comfortable, breathable, and adjustable. It is also removable for easy cleaning.

9. Troubleshooting

9.1 Headlamp Not Turning On

  • Check battery level using the smart battery reminder. If low, charge the headlamp.
  • Ensure the power button is pressed correctly.

9.2 Infrared Sensor Not Responding

  • Ensure the induction switch is activated (indicated by a double flash).
  • Make sure your hand is within 20cm of the sensor.
  • Clean the sensor area to remove any obstructions.

9.3 Short Battery Life

  • Ensure the headlamp is fully charged (approx. 3 hours).
  • Using higher brightness modes (e.g., Highlight) will consume battery faster. Switch to lower brightness or medium bright for longer endurance.
  • Battery performance may degrade over time with repeated charging cycles.

11. User Tips

  • Mode Memory: The headlamp does not explicitly state a memory function for the last lighting mode. It is recommended to cycle through modes or use the induction switch for quick on/off.
