Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your Lexin G1 headset, follow these maintenance guidelines:
- Cleaning: Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the exterior of the headset. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Water Resistance: The Lexin G1 is IP67 waterproof, making it suitable for rainy and harsh environments. However, avoid submerging the device in water for extended periods. Ensure the USB-C port cover is securely closed when not charging.
- Battery Care: Charge the battery regularly, even if the device is not in use for extended periods, to maintain battery health. Store the device in a cool, dry place.
- Storage: When not in use, store the headset in a protective case to prevent scratches or damage.

Troubleshooting
- No Intercom Functionality: Please note that the Lexin G1 model does NOT support intercom communication with other riders or devices (including Lexin BF4, FT4 Pro, or G2P models), as indicated in its specifications. It is designed for single-user audio and phone calls.
- Difficulty Pairing: Ensure the headset is in pairing mode (rapidly flashing LED). Turn off and on your device's Bluetooth, then try pairing again. Make sure the headset is charged.
- Poor Sound Quality / Noise: The Lexin G1 features CVC/DSP Noise Reduction for clear audio. Ensure speakers are positioned correctly over your ears and the microphone is close to your mouth. Check for any obstructions or loose connections.
- Short Battery Life: Ensure the device is fully charged before use. Battery life can vary based on usage (e.g., continuous music playback vs. standby). If battery life significantly degrades, contact support.
- No Audio from GPS: Confirm that your GPS device is successfully paired with the Lexin G1 and that its audio output is set to Bluetooth.

- Optimal Audio: For the best sound and voice clarity, ensure your speakers are aligned with your ears and the microphone is positioned correctly.
- Hands-Free Convenience: Take full advantage of the voice assistant feature (Siri or S-voice) for hands-free control of your smartphone functions while riding.
