1. Introduction

The EAFC Jump Starter Power Bank is a versatile and essential tool for vehicle owners. Designed to provide emergency jump-starting for 12V gasoline and diesel vehicles, it also functions as a portable power bank for electronic devices and features built-in LED lighting for emergencies. Its compact size and robust design make it a reliable companion for any journey.

2. Safety Precautions

  • Do not clamp the positive and negative poles of the jump starter clips in reverse.
  • Do not allow the positive and negative poles of the jump starter clips to touch each other.
  • Ensure the jump starter is charged to at least 75% before attempting to jump start a vehicle.
  • Do not discharge and charge the jump starter simultaneously.
  • Remove the jump starter clips from the car battery within 20 seconds after the car starts successfully.
  • Keep the device away from children.
  • Do not expose the device to extreme temperatures or direct sunlight for prolonged periods.

3. Setup and Initial Use

3.1 Initial Charging

Upon receiving the product, it is crucial to perform an initial charge cycle to optimize battery life:

  1. Turn on the flashlight function to fully discharge the unit.
  2. Charge the jump starter for more than 4 hours.
  3. After this initial charge, the unit is ready for use.

Note: Do not discharge and charge the unit at the same time.

3.2 Charging the Jump Starter

Connect the jump starter to a power source using a USB-C cable. The LED indicators will show the charging progress.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Jump Starting a Vehicle

The EAFC Jump Starter is designed for 12V gasoline vehicles (up to 3.0L) and diesel vehicles. Ensure the jump starter has at least 75% power before attempting to start your vehicle.

  1. Connect the Clips: Insert the blue end of the jumper cable clips firmly into the jump starter's dedicated port. Ensure it is fully inserted.
  2. Clamp to Battery:
    • Connect the red clamp to the car battery's positive (+) terminal.
    • Connect the black clamp to the car battery's negative (-) terminal.

    Important: Do not clamp the positive and negative poles in reverse. Do not allow the clamps to touch each other.

  3. Start the Car: Return to your vehicle and start the engine.
  4. Remove Clips: Once the car starts successfully, immediately remove the clips from the car battery (within 20 seconds) and then disconnect them from the jump starter.

4.3 LED Lighting Functions

5. Maintenance

  • Charge the jump starter every 3 months, even if not in use, to prevent deep discharge and ensure readiness.
  • Store the device in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Clean the exterior with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
  • The charge or discharge speed may appear fast during the last 15% of the jump starter's power. This is a normal characteristic of high-rate lithium batteries and does not indicate a product defect.
