3. Setup Guide

3.1. Power Connection

  1. Connect the power cable to the adapter.
  2. Connect the adapter to the extension cable.
  3. Plug the extension cable into the robot's power port.
  4. Plug the power cable into a wall outlet (AC110-240V~50/60Hz). The robot operates while connected to power, with a built-in battery for power outage protection.

3.2. Attaching Cleaning Pads

Attach the microfiber cleaning pads to the bottom of the robot. Ensure they are securely fastened.

3.3. Filling the Water Tank

The YW710 features dual water spray with an 80ml water tank. Use the provided water injection bottle to fill the tank with clean water or a recommended window cleaning solution. The robot automatically sprays mist during operation.

3.4. Attaching the Safety Rope

For safety, especially when cleaning high windows, always attach the safety rope to a secure anchor point. The safety rope length is 4.5m.

3.5. Placing the Robot

Place the robot on the window surface. Press the power button on the robot to activate the vacuum adsorption. Ensure the robot is firmly attached before releasing it.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1. Power On/Off

Press the power button on the robot to turn it on. The robot will initiate vacuum adsorption. To turn off, press the power button again or use the remote/app.

4.2. Control Methods

The YW710 can be controlled via:

  • Mobile App: Download the Liectroux app. After starting the robot, connect it via the app. The app provides a simple and intuitive interface for control.
  • Remote Control: Use the included infrared remote control to operate the robot.

4.3. Cleaning Modes

The robot offers four distinct cleaning modes:

  • N-shaped Mode: Suitable for horizontal windows, cleaning from left to right.
  • Z-shaped Mode: Suitable for vertical windows, cleaning from top to bottom.
  • Automatic Mode: Performs a double cleaning pattern, first N-shaped then Z-shaped.
  • Fix-pointed Cleaning: Simulates manual wiping by repeatedly scrubbing back and forth across designated areas while spraying water mist, delivering deep cleaning to specified stain zones.

4.4. Water Spray

The YW710 features dual water spray. You can choose between automatic or manual water spray via the app or remote control. Note: When the machine moves upwards, it does not spray water to prevent slippage.

4.5. Artificial Intelligence Memory Function

The Liectroux YW710 has an original memory function. After cleaning, it will automatically return to its starting point, making it easy to retrieve.

4.6. Voice Prompts

The robot provides voice prompts for status reports, such as when the water tank is empty, and timely alarms in case of danger.

5. Maintenance

5.1. Cleaning Pads

The microfiber cleaning pads are washable and reusable. After each use, remove the pads and wash them by hand or machine. Ensure they are dry before reattaching.

5.2. Water Tank

Empty and rinse the water tank after each use to prevent residue buildup. Use the water injection bottle for easy refilling.

5.3. Robot Body

Wipe the robot's body with a soft, dry cloth to remove any dust or debris. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the robot in water.

6. Troubleshooting

  • Robot not adhering to surface: Ensure the surface is clean and dry. Check for sufficient power supply. The robot requires continuous power for operation, with the internal battery serving as a backup.
  • Robot not spraying water: Check if the water tank is filled. The robot will provide a voice prompt if the tank is empty.
  • Robot falling: Ensure the safety rope is securely attached. The robot has an upgraded laser edge detection sensor and UPS (Uninterrupted Power Supply) for fall arrest, but proper safety measures are crucial. In case of accidental power outage, the robot can adsorb for 30 minutes and will continuously alarm.
  • Cleaning performance issues: Ensure cleaning pads are clean and properly attached. Refill the water tank if needed.

9. Safety Information

  • In case of a power failure, the built-in Lithium-ion battery provides up to 30 minutes of adsorption and continuous alarming to prevent falling. Remove the robot promptly after a power cut.
  • Do not use the robot on cracked or damaged glass surfaces.
  • Keep children and pets away from the operating robot.
