Regular maintenance is crucial for the optimal performance and longevity of your Tikom L9000. Always power off the robot before performing any maintenance.
6.1 Emptying the Dust Bin
After each cleaning cycle, or when indicated by the app, remove and empty the 300ML dust bin. Tap out debris and wipe the interior with a dry cloth.
6.2 Cleaning the Water Tank and Mopping Cloth
After each mopping session, empty any remaining water from the 250ML water tank. Remove the mopping cloth, rinse it thoroughly, and allow it to air dry. Replace the mopping cloth regularly for best results.
6.3 Cleaning Filters
Remove the HEPA filter and sponge from the dust bin. Tap them gently to remove dust. Do not wash the HEPA filter with water. Replace filters every 3-6 months, or more frequently depending on usage.
6.4 Cleaning Side Brushes and Main Brush
Regularly check the side brushes and main brush for tangled hair or debris. Use the provided cleaning brush or scissors to remove any obstructions. Replace worn-out side brushes as needed.
6.5 Cleaning Sensors and Charging Contacts
Wipe the cliff sensors, wall sensors, and charging contacts on both the robot and the charging station with a clean, dry cloth. This ensures proper navigation and charging.
