Product Overview

The RAYKUBE K01C Smart Key Lock Box is available in two main configurations: a shackle version for hanging and a wall-mounted version for fixed installation. Both versions feature an IP65 waterproof rating and are designed for durability.

The key box offers ample internal space for storing up to 6 keys, as well as other small items like credit cards or car keys.

The construction utilizes either engineering plastics or metal materials, featuring a spring bolt, rotating shaft, and a thickened base for enhanced security and durability.

Installation

The K01C key box can be installed in two primary ways: wall-mounted or using the shackle (if applicable to your model).

Wall-Mounted Installation

  1. Adjust Position, Drilling: Choose a solid surface on a wall, wardrobe, or similar location. Mark the desired drilling points.
  2. Embedded Expansion Pipe: Drill holes at the marked positions and insert the expansion pipes.
  3. Screw the Lock Box: Align the lock box with the holes and secure it using screws.

Installation on Security Door (Peephole Method)

  1. Remove Peephole: Carefully remove the existing peephole from your security door.
  2. Hold the Screw: Insert the provided screw through the peephole opening from the external side.
  3. Fix with Long Screw: Attach the lock box to the screw from the inside, securing it firmly.

The key box can be installed wherever you need convenient key access, such as near a door or inside a wardrobe.

Operation

Power Supply

The K01C key box is powered by 3 AAA alkaline batteries (not included). It offers a standby time of over 3 months. To install or replace batteries, use a screwdriver to unscrew the battery case inside the lock box.

In case the battery runs out, an emergency power supply feature is available via a Type-C USB interface.

Unlocking Methods

The K01C supports two primary unlocking methods: password entry and smartphone application control (Tuya or TT Lock APP, depending on your model).

1. Password Unlock

Enter your preset password on the keypad to unlock the device. The keypad will illuminate to indicate input. This method is convenient and fast for direct access.

2. APP Unlock (Tuya or TT Lock)

Download and install the appropriate application (Tuya Smart or TT Lock) on your smartphone. Follow the in-app instructions to pair your key box. Once paired, you can unlock the device with a simple tap in the app. The app also allows for managing temporary codes and viewing unlock records.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Battery Replacement: Replace all three AAA batteries when the low battery indicator appears or if the device becomes unresponsive. Always use new alkaline batteries.
  • Dust Cover: Ensure the dust cover is properly closed to maintain the IP65 waterproof rating and protect the keypad from environmental elements.

Troubleshooting

  • Device not responding: Check battery levels. Replace batteries if necessary. Use the emergency Type-C power supply if batteries are completely drained.
  • Forgotten password: Use the associated smartphone app (Tuya or TT Lock) to reset or retrieve the password.
  • App connection issues: Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone and the key box is within range. Restart the app and try reconnecting.
  • Keys not fitting: Verify the internal dimensions (85mm*65mm*34mm) to ensure your items fit.

User Tips

  • Remote Code Changes: For iPhone users, you can change the access code remotely using the TT Lock or Tuya app, provided the lock box is connected via Bluetooth or a compatible gateway (if supported by your app version).
  • Regular Password Updates: For enhanced security, it is recommended to change your access passwords periodically.
  • Battery Check: Periodically check the battery status via the app to avoid unexpected power loss.
