Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the watch regularly with a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn dirt, use a slightly damp cloth and mild soap, then dry thoroughly.
- Water Resistance: The watch is 50M (5ATM) water resistant. This means it is suitable for daily use, showering, and swimming in shallow water. Do NOT press any buttons while the watch is submerged in water. Avoid hot water, as it can damage the seals.
- Battery: The watch uses a standard button cell battery. When the display dims or functions become erratic, it may be time to replace the battery. It is recommended to have the battery replaced by a professional to ensure water resistance is maintained.
- Storage: Store the watch in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Display is blank or dim | Low battery | Replace the battery. |
| Buttons not responding | Watch may be in a locked state or internal malfunction. | Try pressing all buttons simultaneously for a few seconds to reset. If problem persists, battery replacement might be needed. |
| Time is incorrect | Time was not set correctly or accidental button press. | Refer to 'Setting Time and Date' section to re-adjust. |
| Water inside the watch | Water resistance compromised (e.g., buttons pressed underwater, exposure to hot water). | Immediately take the watch to a professional for inspection and repair to prevent further damage. |
User Tips
- Always ensure the watch is dry before pressing any buttons if it has been exposed to water, even if it's within its water resistance rating.
- To prolong battery life, avoid excessive use of the backlight.
