7. Troubleshooting

7.1 Common Issues and Solutions

  • Tracker not connecting to Find My app: Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your iOS device and the tracker's battery is not depleted. Try restarting your iOS device and the tracker (by removing and reinserting the battery). Make sure you select 'Other Supported Item' during pairing, not 'Add AirTag'.
  • Sound not playing: Check the volume settings on your iOS device. Ensure the tracker is within Bluetooth range.
  • Tracker not appearing on map: If the tracker is out of Bluetooth range of your device, its location will be updated by other Apple devices in the Find My network. Ensure 'Lost Mode' is enabled for broader network tracking.
  • Battery life shorter than expected: Ensure you are using a fresh, high-quality CR2032 battery. Extreme temperatures can affect battery performance.
  • Compatibility with Android: The AiYaTo Smart Tracker is designed exclusively for use with Apple's Find My network and iOS devices. It is not compatible with Android operating systems.

8. User Tips

  • iOS Exclusivity: Remember that this tracker is specifically designed for Apple's Find My network. It will not function with Android devices.
  • Name Your Items: Assign clear, descriptive names to your trackers in the Find My app (e.g., "Car Keys," "Backpack") for easier identification and Siri commands.
  • Regular Battery Checks: Although the battery lasts over a year, it's good practice to check its status periodically in the Find My app, especially before important trips.
