1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing the feyree EVSE Wallbox EV Charger. This manual provides essential information for the safe and efficient installation, operation, and maintenance of your electric vehicle charging station. Please read this manual thoroughly before using the product and retain it for future reference.

This charging station is designed for reliable and fast charging of electric vehicles equipped with a Type 2 IEC62196-2 standard charging port. It offers a 7KW single-phase charging solution with a 32A current capacity and a 5-meter cable.

2. Important Safety Information

WARNING: Installation must be performed by a qualified electrician in accordance with all local and national electrical codes.

  • Waterproof Protection: The unit has an IP65 rating, allowing for normal operation in rainy conditions.
  • Temperature Protection: Features intelligent temperature protection. Charging stops automatically if the internal temperature reaches 85°C and resumes when it drops to 65°C.
  • Overcurrent Protection: Protects against excessive current flow.
  • Over-voltage Protection: Safeguards against voltage surges.
  • Under-voltage Protection: Protects against insufficient voltage.
  • Grounding Protection: Ensures proper electrical grounding for safety.
  • Overload Protection: Prevents damage from excessive load.

5. Installation

IMPORTANT: Installation must be carried out by a certified electrician to ensure compliance with all safety standards and local electrical codes.

  1. Choose Location: Select a suitable indoor or outdoor location for the charging station. Ensure it is a flat, stable surface, preferably a wall, and within reach of your vehicle's charging port. The unit is designed for indoor/outdoor use in any climate.
  2. Mounting: Use the provided mounting screws and anchors to securely attach the charging station to the wall. Ensure the mounting surface can support the weight of the unit and the cable.
  3. Electrical Connection: The charger requires a single-phase 220V ±20% power supply. The electrician will connect the charger to your electrical panel, ensuring proper grounding and circuit protection.
  4. Cable Management: After installation, use the provided EV charger holder to neatly store the charging cable and plug when not in use. This prevents damage and keeps the area tidy.

6. Operation

The feyree EVSE Wallbox EV Charger is designed for simple and straightforward use, featuring a button start mode without the need for an app or RFID cards.

  1. Connect to Vehicle: Open the charging port cover on your electric vehicle. Take the Type 2 plug from the charging station and firmly insert it into your vehicle's charging port.
  2. Start Charging: Press the start button on the charging station. The indicator light will illuminate, indicating that charging has begun.
  3. Monitor Charging: The charging process is automatic. The device will automatically power off once your vehicle's battery is fully charged.
  4. Stop Charging (Emergency): In an emergency or if you need to stop charging manually, press the red reset button located on the side of the control box.
  5. Disconnect: Once charging is complete or stopped, disconnect the Type 2 plug from your vehicle.
  6. Store Cable: Neatly coil the charging cable and place the plug in the EV charger holder to protect it from dust and damage.

  • Inspect Cable and Plug: Regularly check the charging cable and plug for any signs of wear, cuts, or damage. Do not use the charger if the cable or plug is damaged.
  • Keep Socket Clean: The special socket design helps prevent dust, but occasional inspection and gentle cleaning of the EV charger interface can ensure optimal connection.
  • Store Properly: Always use the EV charger holder to store the cable and plug when not in use. This protects them from environmental elements and accidental damage.
  • Environmental Conditions: The charger is designed for indoor/outdoor use in various climates, including sun and rain. However, avoid prolonged exposure to extreme conditions if possible.

8. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your charging station, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
