- Ensure adequate ventilation around the device to prevent overheating.
- No user-serviceable parts inside. Refer to qualified personnel for repairs.
8. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your EARU protector, refer to the following common troubleshooting steps:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Device not powering on | No input power; incorrect wiring; internal fault. | Check power supply to the 'IN' terminals. Verify wiring according to diagrams. If problem persists, consult a qualified electrician. |
| Power output is OFF (display shows OFF) | Over/Under voltage or over-current condition detected; manual shutdown. | Check voltage and current levels. If within normal range, press the Power button to manually turn on. If fault persists, check connected load. |
| Settings not saving or resetting unexpectedly | Incorrect setting procedure; power interruption during save; internal memory issue. | Ensure you press SET to confirm each parameter change. If settings still reset, try restoring factory settings (refer to operation section) and reconfigure. If the issue persists, the device may be faulty. |
| Inaccurate voltage/current readings | Calibration error; external interference. | For EAPDX-63VAE-RGB, check the Calibration Voltage Value (URd) and Current Calibration (CRd) settings. If necessary, perform a calibration with a known accurate meter. |
User Tips:
- When adjusting settings, ensure you press the SET button to confirm each change to prevent settings from reverting.
- If you experience issues with settings not being saved or resetting, try performing a factory reset (CLP 009 for EAPDX-63VAE-RGB, or "Keep Pressing to turn on/off the power output & function of protections" then "Restore Factory Settings" for EAPDX-40/63 models) and then re-enter your desired parameters.
