3. Installation and Setup
The device is designed for easy installation on a standard 35mm DIN rail. Ensure all power is disconnected before attempting installation.
Mounting:
Simply clip the device onto a 35mm DIN rail. The installation and disassembly process is straightforward.
Wiring Diagram:
Connect the power lines (L and N) to the 'IN' terminals and the load lines to the 'OUT' terminals. Ensure proper polarity. When inserting power lines, screw down to penetrate the insulating layer of the wires for a secure connection.
4. Operation
Display and Indicators:
The device features a dual digital display for real-time voltage and current. Models with kWh functionality will also show cumulative energy consumption. LED indicators provide quick status updates.
- V Display: Shows real-time voltage.
- A Display: Shows real-time current.
- kWh Display: Shows cumulative energy consumption (on TOVPD1-63VAE models).
- >V Indicator: Lights up for Over Voltage condition.
- <V Indicator: Lights up for Under Voltage condition.
- >A Indicator: Lights up for Over Current condition.
- POWER Indicator: Indicates the device is powered on.
Button Functions:
- Power Button (ON/OFF): Press to manually switch the protection function on or off.
- SET Button: Press and hold for more than 3 seconds to enter the setting state. Press again to confirm settings or exit.

Fault Inquiry:
To inquire about faults, press the UP button for more than 12 seconds.
Automatic Recovery:
In case of over-voltage, under-voltage, or over-current faults, the device will automatically disconnect the power supply. Once the voltage or current returns to normal parameters, the device will automatically restore the power supply after the set recovery delay time.
If the device does not recover automatically or displays persistent error codes, verify the input voltage and current are within the normal operating range. If issues persist, consult a qualified electrician.
7. User Tips
- Energy Monitoring: If you need to monitor your electricity consumption, ensure you select the "V A Kwh type" model (e.g., TOVPD1-63VAE) as it includes the cumulative energy (kWh) display.
- Calibration: If you suspect the voltage or current readings are inaccurate, use the voltage (A14) and current (A15) calibration functions in the setting menu to fine-tune the display.
- Power-on Delay: Utilize the adjustable power-on delay (A1) to protect sensitive equipment from immediate power surges after a power outage.
