  1. Identify the 'IN' (Input) and 'OUT' (Output) terminals on the smart switch.
  2. Connect the AC 85-250V power supply to the 'IN' terminals (L for Live, N for Neutral).

  1. Download the "Tuya Smart" or "Smart Life" app from your mobile app store (iOS/Android). You can also scan the QR code provided in the product packaging or user guide image.

  2. Reset the device: Press and hold the 'Reset' button on the smart switch for approximately 6 seconds until the network indicator (red light) blinks rapidly (0.5 seconds per blink). This indicates pairing mode.
  3. Open the Tuya Smart/Smart Life app on your smartphone.
  4. Tap the "+" icon in the top right corner of the app's homepage to add a device.
  5. The app will automatically search for nearby devices. Once the switch is discovered, tap "Add".
  6. Select your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network and enter the correct password.
  7. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the pairing process.
  8. Once added, you can rename your device for easy identification.

  1. Hold the manual switch button for 3 seconds. The RF pairing indicator (blue light) will turn on.
  2. Long press the button on your remote control.
  3. Release the remote control button. Matching should be successful.

7.2 Clear Remote Control Code (for RF-enabled models only)

  1. Long press the manual switch button for 15 seconds (the RF pairing indicator will remain on).
  2. Release the manual switch button when the RF pairing indicator (blue light) turns off and then flashes rapidly 5 times. The code is now cleared.

Note: The matching/clear code method is only available with RF function switch/module references.

7.3 General Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues, try the following:

  • Device not connecting to Wi-Fi: Ensure your Wi-Fi network is 2.4GHz, the password is correct, and the device is within range of your router. Try resetting the device and re-pairing.
  • App not responding: Close and reopen the app. Check your phone's internet connection.
  • Incorrect readings: Ensure the temperature/humidity sensor is properly connected and placed in an appropriate location away from direct heat sources or drafts. Consider using the calibration feature in the app if readings are consistently off.
  • Device unresponsive: Check the power supply to the switch. Ensure the load is not exceeding the maximum current.
