6. Troubleshooting
Common Issues and Solutions:
- Device does not power on:
- Check power connections. Ensure the Buck Line or cigarette lighter adapter is securely connected and receiving power from the vehicle.
- Verify the vehicle's power outlet is functional.
- GPS signal is weak or unavailable:
- Ensure the external GPS antenna is properly connected and placed in a location with a clear view of the sky (e.g., dashboard, windshield).
- Avoid placing the antenna under metal objects or tinted windows that may block the signal.
- Wi-Fi/Bluetooth connectivity issues:
- Ensure Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are enabled on both the DVR and your smartphone.
- Restart both devices and attempt to reconnect.
- Check for any interference from other electronic devices.
- ADAS warnings are not triggering:
- For Lane Departure Warning, ensure your driving speed is above 50 KM/h if using a GPS active antenna.
- Ensure the front camera is clean and unobstructed.
- Calibrate the ADAS system if available in settings.
- Rear camera not displaying:
- Check the AV-In connection to the DVR.
- Verify the rear camera's power wire is correctly connected to the reverse light (if applicable).
- Ensure the rear camera itself is not damaged.
- Loop recording not working / TF card full:
- Ensure a Class 10 or higher TF card is used.
- Format the TF card periodically (this will erase all data, so back up important files first).
