4. Setup Instructions

Follow these steps for a quick and easy setup:

  1. Unpack: Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
  2. Connect Antennas: Screw the two antennas onto the ANT A and ANT B connectors on the rear of the receiver unit. Position them vertically for optimal signal reception.
  3. Power the Receiver: Connect the provided power adapter to the DC 12V input on the receiver and plug it into a power outlet.
  4. Connect to Audio System:
    • For most home setups (e.g., TV, soundbar), use the supplied 6.35mm audio cable to connect the receiver's 'OUT MIX' port to an available audio input on your TV, sound system, or power amplifier.
    • For professional setups, use an XLR cable (not included) to connect the receiver's 'BALANCE' output to a mixer or professional audio interface.
  5. Insert Microphone Batteries: Open the battery compartment of each handheld microphone and insert two AA batteries (not included), ensuring correct polarity.
  6. Power On: Turn on the receiver unit using the 'Switch' button on the front panel. The channel displays should light up. Then, turn on each microphone using its power switch. The microphones should automatically connect to the receiver.

5. Operating Instructions

  1. Power On: Ensure the receiver and microphones are powered on as described in the setup section.
  2. Adjust Volume: Use the 'VOL-A' and 'VOL-B' knobs on the receiver to adjust the individual volume levels of each microphone. You may also need to adjust the volume on your connected audio system (TV, amplifier, mixer).
  3. Microphone Usage: Hold the microphone approximately 2-6 inches (5-15 cm) from your mouth for optimal sound pickup. Avoid covering the microphone grille with your hand.
  4. Wireless Range: The system offers a wireless range of up to 165 feet (50 meters) in open areas. Performance may vary depending on environmental factors and obstacles.
  5. Power Off: After use, turn off both microphones and then the receiver unit to conserve battery life and prevent unexpected noise.

6. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the receiver and microphones. Do not use liquid cleaners or abrasive materials.
  • Storage: When not in use for extended periods, remove batteries from the microphones to prevent leakage. Store the system in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Antennas: Handle antennas with care to avoid bending or breaking.

7. Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
No sound from microphones
  • Microphones or receiver not powered on.
  • Low or dead microphone batteries.
  • Audio cable not connected properly.
  • Receiver volume too low.
  • Connected audio system volume too low or muted.
  • Ensure all units are powered on.
  • Replace microphone batteries.
  • Check all audio cable connections.
  • Increase receiver volume (VOL-A/B).
  • Increase volume on your TV/amplifier.
Intermittent sound or static
  • Microphones too far from receiver.
  • Obstacles blocking signal (walls, metal objects).
  • Interference from other wireless devices.
  • Low microphone batteries.
  • Move microphones closer to the receiver.
  • Ensure clear line of sight between microphones and receiver.
  • Replace microphone batteries.
  • Try to minimize other wireless devices in the area.
Microphone not pairing
  • Microphone or receiver not powered on.
  • Incorrect frequency setting (though typically auto-pairing).
  • Ensure both are powered on.
  • If issues persist, power cycle both units.
