1. Introduction

The WIZCAR M3 is a multimedia infotainment system designed to enhance your in-car experience. It transforms your car's original display into a smart Android screen, allowing you to access a vast array of applications from the Google Play Store. This device functions like a smartphone, enabling you to use local maps, stream videos, play music, enjoy games, and much more directly on your car's screen.

The WIZCAR M3 supports over 100 languages, ensuring a personalized experience regardless of your location. This manual provides detailed instructions for setup, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting to help you get the most out of your device.

2. Compatibility

The WIZCAR M3 Multimedia Infotainment System is compatible only with vehicles that have the Apple CarPlay option already activated and support wired CarPlay connection. Please ensure your car meets this requirement before attempting to install the device.

4. Setup Instructions

Follow these steps to set up your WIZCAR M3 device:

  1. Ensure CarPlay is Active: Verify that your car's infotainment system has Apple CarPlay activated and supports a wired connection.
  2. Connect the Device: Using one of the provided USB cables, connect the WIZCAR M3 device to your car's USB port that supports CarPlay.
  3. Initial Boot-up: The device will automatically power on. You will see the WIZCAR logo and a "Powered by Android" message on your car's screen.
  4. System Initialization: Allow a few moments for the system to initialize. Once complete, the Android interface will appear on your car's display.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 App Installation and Management

The WIZCAR M3 provides access to over 3000 applications via the Google Play Store.

  1. Access Google Play Store: From the main interface, tap on the "Play Store" icon.
  2. Sign In: Sign in with your Google account to access the full range of applications.
  3. Download Apps: Browse or search for your desired apps (e.g., YouTube, TikTok, Waze, Google Maps, Spotify, 2GIS, Yandex Maps/Music) and install them.

  • Check for Updates: Navigate to the system settings, usually under "About device" or "System Update," to check for and install available updates.
  • Internet Connection: Ensure the device has an active internet connection (via Wi-Fi or Nano SIM) to download updates.

6. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the device. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
  • Storage: When not in use for extended periods, store the device in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
  • Temperature: Operate the device within the specified working temperature range of -20°C to 70°C.

7. Troubleshooting

Device does not power on or display anything:
  • Ensure the USB cable is securely connected to both the WIZCAR M3 and your car's CarPlay-enabled USB port.
  • Verify that your car's ignition is on.
  • Confirm that your car's infotainment system has Apple CarPlay activated.
Apps are slow or unresponsive:
  • Check your internet connection (Wi-Fi or Nano SIM).
  • Close unnecessary background applications.
  • Clear the cache of the problematic app through Android settings.
  • Consider performing a system restart.
No sound:
  • Check the volume levels on both the WIZCAR M3 and your car's audio system.
  • Ensure the car's audio input is set to the correct source (e.g., CarPlay, USB audio).
Cannot connect to Wi-Fi or mobile data:
  • Verify Wi-Fi settings and password.
  • Ensure the Nano SIM card is correctly inserted and has an active data plan.
  • Check network coverage in your area.
