Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the flashlight body with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. Keep the lens clean for optimal light output.
- Battery Care: Remove batteries if the flashlight will not be used for an extended period to prevent leakage and damage. Store batteries in a cool, dry place.
- Lubrication: Periodically apply a thin layer of silicone grease to the O-rings and screw threads to maintain water resistance and smooth operation.
- Storage: Store the flashlight in a dry environment, away from extreme temperatures and direct sunlight.
Troubleshooting
- Flashlight does not turn on:
- Ensure the battery is inserted correctly with the positive (+) end facing the head.
- Check if the battery has sufficient charge. Replace with a new battery if necessary.
- Make sure the tail cap is screwed on tightly. A loose connection can prevent the flashlight from working.
- Light is dim or flickers:
- The battery may be low. Replace or recharge the battery.
- Clean the battery contacts and the flashlight's internal contacts with a cotton swab and rubbing alcohol.
- Zoom function is stiff:
- Clean any dirt or debris from the sliding mechanism.
- Apply a small amount of silicone grease to the moving parts for smoother adjustment.
