3. Setup

3.1 Charging the Device

The VL49 RGB Pro has a built-in 2500mAh battery. Before first use, fully charge the device.

1. Connect the provided Type-C charging cable to the Type-C charging port on the side of the light.
2. Connect the other end of the cable to a 5V/1A USB power adapter (not included).
3. The charging time is approximately 4 hours for a full charge.

3.2 Mounting Options

3.2.1 Cold Shoe Mount

Attach the double-headed cold shoe mount to the 1/4 standard screw port on the bottom of the light. This allows you to mount the light onto cameras, camera cages, or other accessories with a cold shoe slot.

3.2.2 Magnetic Adsorption

The light features a four-sided magnetic adsorption design, allowing it to be firmly attached to iron surfaces. This provides flexibility for creative lighting setups.

Attention: Do not adsorb the magnet on surfaces where the temperature exceeds 80°C to prevent the magnetic force from declining.

4.2.1 RGB Mode (HSI)

• Press the Mode button until 'RGB' is displayed.
• Use the Switching button to select between H (Hue), S (Saturation), and I (Intensity/Brightness).
• Use the Adjustment buttons (+/-) to change the values:
  • H (Hue): 0-360° (full color spectrum)

• Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the light. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
• Storage: Store the device in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
• Battery Care: To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. Charge it regularly, even if not in use for extended periods.
• Magnetic Adsorption: As noted in setup, avoid exposing the magnetic surfaces to temperatures exceeding 80°C to maintain magnetic strength.
