2. Setup
2.1 Package Contents
Before you begin, please ensure all items are present in your package:

2.2 Connection Methods
The VGN S99 keyboard supports three distinct connection modes:
2.2.1 2.4G Wireless Connection
- Locate the receiver storage slot on the back of the keyboard. Press the cover to retrieve the 2.4G wireless receiver.
- Plug the 2.4G receiver into an available USB port on your computer.
- Switch the mode switch located at the bottom of the keyboard to the '2.4G' position. The keyboard should automatically connect.
2.2.2 Type-C (Wired) Connection
- Connect one end of the provided USB-C cable to the Type-C port on the keyboard.
- Connect the other end of the USB-C cable to an available USB port on your computer.
- Switch the mode switch at the bottom of the keyboard to the middle position (wired mode). The keyboard will function as a wired device.
2.2.3 Bluetooth 5.0 Connection
- Switch the mode switch at the bottom of the keyboard to the 'BT' (Bluetooth) position.
- On your computer or device, enable Bluetooth and search for new devices.
- On the keyboard, long press the 'FN' key simultaneously with one of the numeric keys (1, 2, or 3) to initiate pairing for that specific Bluetooth channel.
- Select 'VGN S99' from the list of available Bluetooth devices on your computer/device to complete the pairing process.
- The keyboard supports pairing with up to 3 Bluetooth devices. To switch between paired devices, simply press 'FN' + the corresponding numeric key (1, 2, or 3).

The keyboard features a four-layer silencer structure with PO sandwich cotton, IXPE eight-fold foam shaft lower pad, shaft seat cotton, and silicone bottom pad to effectively fill internal space and eliminate cavity sounds. The Gasket leaf spring structure provides a softer feel and cleaner sound.
The keycaps are original height PBT material, using GMK characters for classic reproduction. They feature surface fine sand treatment for a delicate touch and durability, with a thickened keycap wall design for a calmer sound.
