1. Introduction

This product is a wireless touch keypad designed to arm and disarm your security system using a passcode or an RFID tag. It connects to your alarm hub via the eV1527 protocol, offering an effective communication range of up to 80 meters in open areas. The internal lithium-ion rechargeable battery provides power for up to 3 months on a single charge.

5. Charging the Battery

Push the battery switch to on. Connect your keypad to a power outlet using the included cable and USB power adapter. It takes two to three hours to charge the keypad battery fully from an empty state. The power indicator turning from breathing green to solid green means that the battery is fully charged. If the keypad is low battery, the power indicator may flash red once per 2 seconds, indicating that it needs to charge.

6. Installation

Before installation, please test the keypad communication range with your hub first. It is not advised to mount the keypad onto metal surfaces as the material can block RF signals between the keypad and the receiver.

Fix the bracket to the surface with included screws. Insert the keypad into the bracket.

7. About the Keypad

7.1. Sleep/Wake Mode

To save battery power, the keypad enters sleep mode after 20 seconds of inactivity. Touch any button to wake the keypad.

7.2. User and Admin Passcode

The keypad uses two 4-digit passcodes. The user passcode is for arming, home arming, and disarming your security system. The admin passcode is used to pair/delete RFID tags and change passcodes. The default user passcode is "1234" and the default admin passcode is "8888".

8. Programming

8.1. Basic Programming Steps

  1. Enter the admin passcode then press . The setting indicator will light up, indicating that programming mode is ready.
  2. Input a number to select a function:
    • 1: Pair RFID Tag
    • 2: Delete RFID Tag
    • 3: Delete All RFID Tags
    • 0: Set User Passcode
    • 9: Set Admin Passcode
    Then press . The setting indicator will blink.
  3. Enter the setting then press . The buzzer will beep twice.
  4. To exit programming, press then .

8.2. Pairing RFID Tag

The RFID tags supplied with this kit are pre-paired with the keypad. If you need to pair additional tags, follow these steps:

  1. Enter admin passcode then press .
  2. Press 1 then press .
  3. Enter a digit from 0 to 9 to assign a unique number for the tag to be paired, then press . The arming, disarming, and setting indicators will blink together.
  4. Tap the tag on the RFID reader zone. The keypad will emit two beeps for successful indication.

Tips: Up to 10 RFID tags can be added.

8.3. Deleting RFID Tag

  1. Enter admin passcode then press .
  2. Press 2 then press .
  3. Enter the tag number (0 to 9) to be deleted, then press .

8.4. Deleting All RFID Tags

  1. Enter admin passcode then press .
  2. Press 3 then press to delete all RFID tags.

8.5. Setting User Passcode

  1. Enter admin passcode then press .
  2. Press 0 then press .
  3. Enter the new 4-digit user passcode, then press .

8.6. Setting Admin Passcode

  1. Enter admin passcode then press .
  2. Press 9 then press .
  3. Enter the new 4-digit admin passcode, then press .

9. How to Connect Your Keypad to Hub

  1. Set your hub into pairing/sniffer mode.
  2. Enter user passcode then press the Away Arming button to send the arming transmission signal to the hub.
  3. The hub will provide a successful indication.

10. Doorbell Function

The doorbell identification number in the transmission code to the hub is different from the arming/disarming ID number. Therefore, it is necessary to pair the doorbell code with your hub before using the doorbell function. Follow these steps:

  1. Set your hub into pairing/sniffer mode.
  2. Press the Doorbell button to send the doorbell transmission signal to the hub.
  3. The hub will provide a successful indication.

Now the doorbell function can be used.

11. Arming/Disarming Your Security System via Keypad

11.1. Using User Passcode

  • Enter user passcode then press the Away Arming button to away arm.
  • Enter user passcode then press the Disarming button to disarm.
  • Enter user passcode then press the Home Arming button to home arm.

11.2. Using RFID Tag

  • Press the Away Arming button then tap the RFID tag to away arm.
  • Press the Disarming button then tap the RFID tag to disarm.
  • Press the Home Arming button then tap the RFID tag to home arm.

12. Reset

This process resets your keypad to factory settings and removes all RFID tags. Press and release the tamper switch (found underneath the bracket) ten times. All indicators will then turn on, and the keypad will restart.

13. User Tips

While no specific user tips were provided, ensuring the keypad is installed away from large metal surfaces can improve wireless signal reliability. Regularly check the battery indicator to ensure the keypad remains charged for continuous operation.

14. Troubleshooting

If the keypad is not responding, ensure it is charged and the battery on/off switch is in the 'on' position. If pairing issues occur, verify the hub is in pairing mode and re-attempt the programming steps. For persistent issues, a factory reset (Section 12) may resolve the problem, but remember to re-pair all RFID tags and reconfigure passcodes afterward.
