Setup Instructions

1. Mounting the Device

  1. Choose a suitable location for installation, such as a wall near an entrance.
  2. Use the provided screw parts kit to securely mount the attendance machine to the wall. Ensure it is at a comfortable height for users to access the fingerprint scanner and keypad.

2. Power Connection

  1. Connect the provided DC 5V power adapter to the power input port on the side of the attendance machine.
  2. Plug the power adapter into a standard electrical outlet. The device will power on automatically.

3. Initial Configuration

  1. Upon first power-on, the device will display a welcome screen.
  2. Use the keypad (T9 input, ESC, MENU, OK, arrow keys) to navigate the menu.
  3. Select your preferred system language from the 5 available options: English, Spanish, German, Italian, French.
  4. Set the current date and time.

Operating Instructions

1. User Enrollment

To enroll new users, access the 'User Management' menu. You can enroll users via fingerprint, password, or card.

  • Fingerprint Enrollment: Place the user's finger on the scanner multiple times as prompted until enrollment is complete.
  • Password Enrollment: Enter a unique password for the user using the keypad.
  • Card Enrollment: Present the user's RFID card to the device's card reader.

2. Taking Attendance

Users can clock in or out using their registered method:

  • Fingerprint: Place a registered finger on the scanner. Recognition speed is typically under 1.5 seconds.
  • Password: Enter the registered password using the keypad and press 'OK'.
  • Card: Present the registered card to the device's card reader.

3. Data Management and Report Download

The device stores up to 100,000 attendance records internally. To retrieve attendance data:

  1. Insert a USB flash drive into the USB port on the side of the device.
  2. Navigate to the 'Data Management' or 'Report Download' menu option.
  3. Select the desired date range or all data to download.
  4. The device will automatically generate an Excel report (.xls format) and save it to the USB drive. No network connection or special software is required on the device itself.

  • Cleaning: Regularly wipe the screen and fingerprint scanner with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the surface.
  • Environment: Operate the device within the specified temperature (0-60℃) and humidity (20%-80%) ranges. Avoid direct sunlight, excessive dust, and moisture.
  • Power Supply: Always use the original DC 5V power adapter provided with the device. Do not use unauthorized power sources.
  • Data Backup: Periodically download attendance data to a USB flash drive to ensure records are backed up and to free up internal storage.

Warranty Information

The Bisofice A2 Biometric Time Clock Attendance Machine comes with a 12-month manufacturer's limited warranty for defective items from the date of receipt. This warranty does not cover items damaged or misused after receipt. Accessories included with the device are covered by a 3-month warranty.
