5. Installation Guide
Follow these steps to install and configure your Wi-Fi adapter:
5.1. Physical Installation
- Align the interface of the Wi-Fi Plug07 with the inverter and plug it in tightly.
- Confirm the status of the LED indicator. When you see the green LED light turn on from the shell, this indicates normal working status.

5.2. Wireless Router Connection
- Download the SmartESS App (available for iOS and Android) and establish a Wi-Fi connection.
- Scan the QR code from the cover of this guideline or the adapter itself to download the app.
- Connect to the Wi-Fi hotspot of the Wi-Fi Plug07 on your phone WLAN. The initial password is "12345678".
- Open the app, tap the Wi-Fi config button to enter the configuration page.
- Then tap the Network Setting button.
- According to the prompts, type in the information to complete the network setting.
- After the Wi-Fi Plug07 is restarted, reconnect the Wi-Fi which is connected by step 2.1.
5.3. Create Account and Datalogger
- Create Account: Open the app, tap the Register button. According to the prompt, complete creating an account.
- Add Datalogger: Login to the account and click the list button on the bottom of the home page. Tap the "+" button on the top-right corner of the list page. Scan the datalogger PN on the Wi-Fi Plug07, or input it manually. According to the prompts, type in the information to finish adding the datalogger.

6. Operating Instructions
Once installed and configured, the Wi-Fi adapter allows you to monitor and control your solar inverter remotely through the SmartESS app and the Eybond Value Clouds platform.
- Remote Monitoring: View real-time data and historical performance of your solar inverter, including power generation, battery status, and system alerts.
- Remote Control: Adjust inverter settings and operating modes as supported by the app and inverter model.
- Remote Debugging: Access diagnostic information and perform troubleshooting remotely.

The data upload cycle is 5 minutes by default, ensuring regular updates to your monitoring platform.
