4. Initial Setup

4.1 Charging the Speaker

Before first use, fully charge the speaker. Connect the provided USB charging cable to the charging port on the speaker and to a 5V-2A USB power adapter (not included). The LED indicator will show charging status. A full charge takes approximately 4 hours.

4.2 Powering On/Off

  • To Power On: Press and hold the power button (refer to Figure 7 for location) for 3 seconds. The LED indicator will light up.
  • To Power Off: Press and hold the power button for 3 seconds. The LED indicator will turn off.

4.3 Bluetooth Pairing

The EWA A115 speaker uses Bluetooth 5.0 for stable connectivity.

  1. Ensure the speaker is powered on and in pairing mode (LED indicator may flash).
  2. On your device (smartphone, tablet, PC), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
  3. Select "EWA A115" from the list of devices.
  4. Once connected, the speaker will indicate successful pairing (e.g., a sound prompt or steady LED light).

4.4 TWS (True Wireless Stereo) Pairing

For an immersive stereo experience, you can pair two EWA A115 speakers together.

  1. Ensure both EWA A115 speakers are powered on and not connected to any other Bluetooth device.
  2. On one speaker, press and hold the TWS pairing button (if available, otherwise follow general pairing instructions for TWS). The speakers will automatically search for each other.
  3. Once paired, one speaker will act as the master and the other as the slave.
  4. Connect your device to the master speaker via Bluetooth as described in section 4.3.

5. Operation

5.1 Button Controls

The EWA A115 features intuitive button controls for easy operation:

  • Volume Up (Volume+): Long push left button.
  • Volume Down (Volume-): Long push right button.
  • Turn On/Off: Press and hold for 3 seconds.
  • Last Song: Short push left button.
  • Next Song: Short push right button.
  • Play/Pause: (Typically the power button with a short press, or a dedicated button if present, not explicitly detailed in image but common for speakers).

5.2 Using a Micro SD Card (TF Card)

The speaker supports Micro SD cards up to 32GB for direct music playback.

  1. Insert a Micro SD card (with MP3, WAV, WMA, FLAC, APE audio files) into the SD Memory Card Slot (refer to Figure 10).
  2. The speaker should automatically switch to Micro SD card mode and begin playing music.
  3. Use the "Last Song" and "Next Song" buttons to navigate tracks.

5.3 LED Indicator

The dancing LED light on the speaker provides visual feedback, including battery status. The LED light is grouped into 5 segments, with each segment representing 20% of the battery life.

6. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the speaker. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Storage: Store the speaker in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Water Resistance: The speaker is IPX6 waterproof, meaning it can resist high-pressure, heavy sprays of water. Do not submerge the speaker in water. Ensure the charging port cover is securely closed to maintain water resistance.
  • Battery Care: To prolong battery life, fully charge the speaker at least once every three months if not in regular use.

7. Troubleshooting

ProblemPossible Solution
Speaker does not power on.Ensure the battery is charged. Connect to a power source and try again.
No sound from the speaker.Check the volume level on both the speaker and your connected device. Ensure the speaker is properly paired via Bluetooth or that the Micro SD card is inserted correctly.
Unable to pair via Bluetooth.Make sure the speaker is in pairing mode. Turn off Bluetooth on your device and turn it back on. Try restarting both the speaker and your device. Ensure no other devices are connected to the speaker.
TWS pairing fails.Ensure both speakers are EWA A115 models and are not connected to any other Bluetooth device. Follow the TWS pairing steps carefully.
Micro SD card not recognized.Ensure the card is inserted correctly and is formatted to a compatible file system (e.g., FAT32). Check that the audio files are in supported formats (MP3, WAV, WMA, FLAC, APE).

8. User Tips

  • For optimal sound quality, place the speaker on a solid surface to enhance bass resonance.
  • When using TWS mode, ensure both speakers are within close proximity for a stable connection.
  • The included carabiner and packing case are ideal for portability and protecting your speaker during travel.
