1. Introduction

The Acer OMRO50 is a versatile triple-mode wireless mouse designed for seamless connectivity across various devices. It supports 2.4G wireless, Bluetooth 3.0, and Bluetooth 5.0 connections, making it ideal for computers, tablets, laptops, and notebooks. 2. Setup

2.1. 2.4G Wireless Connection

  1. Switch to 2.4G Mode: Locate the power switch on the bottom of the mouse and slide it to the '2.4G' position. A red light will flash to indicate 2.4G mode is active.
  2. Retrieve USB Receiver: Open the small compartment on the bottom of the mouse and carefully remove the NANO USB receiver.
  3. Connect Receiver: Plug the NANO USB receiver into an available USB port on your computer, laptop, or tablet.
  4. Ready to Use: The mouse is plug-and-play. It should automatically connect and be ready for use within a 10-meter wireless transmission range.

2.2. Bluetooth Connection (BT3.0 / BT5.0)

  1. Switch to Bluetooth Mode: Slide the power switch on the bottom of the mouse to the 'BT' position. A green light will flash for Bluetooth 3.0, and a blue light will flash for Bluetooth 5.0.
  2. Enter Pairing Mode: Press and hold the left mouse button, the scroll wheel, and the right mouse button simultaneously for 5 seconds. Release the buttons when the blue indicator light near the scroll wheel starts flashing rapidly. This indicates the mouse is in pairing mode.
  3. Enable Bluetooth on Device: On your computer, tablet, or mobile phone, go to the Bluetooth settings.
  4. Search and Connect: Search for available devices. You should see either "BT3.0 Mouse" or "BT5.0 Mouse" appear in the list. Select the appropriate option to connect.
  5. Confirm Connection: Once connected, the indicator light on the mouse will stop flashing and remain solid for a few seconds, then turn off.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1. DPI Adjustment

The mouse features a dedicated DPI button located behind the scroll wheel. Press this button to cycle through three adjustable DPI levels: 800 DPI (for general office use), 1200 DPI, and 1600 DPI (for faster cursor movement, suitable for gaming).

4. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the mouse. For stubborn dirt, a slightly damp cloth can be used, but ensure no moisture enters the device. Regularly clean the optical sensor on the bottom of the mouse to maintain tracking accuracy.
  • Charging: The mouse has a built-in 500mAh rechargeable lithium battery. Connect the mouse to a USB power source using the provided charging cable when the battery is low. Avoid overcharging or completely draining the battery for optimal battery life.

  • Mouse not responding:
