3. Setup and Installation
The ANTUSI Q5 Taillight offers versatile mounting options for your bicycle.
3.1 Mounting Options
- Seat Cushion Mounting: Attach the taillight directly to the seat rails using the saddle bracket.
- Seat Tube Mounting: Use the seat rod strap bracket to secure the taillight to the seatpost.


Ensure the taillight is firmly installed to prevent it from falling off during rides and to ensure proper brake induction functionality. An M3 Allen key is required for securing the rubber pads.
3.2 Initial Charge
Before first use, it is recommended to fully charge the lamp. Use the provided Type-C charging cable. The power indicator lights will show the charging status.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Power On/Off and Mode Selection
- Power On: Short press the On/Off Button.
- Mode Cycle: Short press the On/Off Button to cycle through the available light modes.
- Power Off: Short press the On/Off Button to turn off the light after cycling through all modes.
4.2 Light Modes
The Q5 Taillight features both Smart Mode and Manual Mode with various light settings:

- Smart Mode:
- Flash: (Approx. 50H Battery Life) Features automatic wake-up/sleep and brake warning.
- Breathing: (Approx. 50H Battery Life) Features automatic wake-up/sleep and brake warning.
- Manual Mode:
- Strobe: (Approx. 25H Battery Life) Features flash and brake warning.
- Always On: (Approx. 15-50H Battery Life) Features always on light and brake warning.
4.3 Smart Mode Functionality
The Smart Mode utilizes intelligent sensing to optimize battery life and enhance safety:

- Automatic Wake-up: In dark light conditions, the light will automatically turn on when motion (riding) is detected.
- Automatic Sleep:
- In bright light conditions, the light will automatically turn off when riding.
- In dark light conditions, if riding stops, the light will automatically turn off after 30 seconds.
- Brake Warning: In any mode, when braking is detected (slow down), the taillight will emit a high-brightness warning light for 3 seconds.

4.4 Brightness Setting
In Steady Mode, long press the Switch Button to adjust the brightness level.

- LOW: Approximately 28-56 hours of run time.
- MEDIUM: Approximately 17-34 hours of run time.
- HIGH: Approximately 8-16 hours of run time.
4.5 Battery Indicator
The taillight features an electric quantity display using blue indicator lights to show the current battery level.

- 3 Blue Lights: 50%~75% battery
- 2 Blue Lights: 25%~50% battery
- 1 Blue Light: 0%~25% battery
5. Maintenance
5.1 Charging
- Use only the provided Type-C charging cable. Using other cables may damage the light.
- Ensure the charging port is dry before charging to prevent damage.
- The battery indicator will show charging progress.
5.2 Waterproofing
The ANTUSI Q5 Taillight is IPX6 waterproof, meaning it is protected against high-pressure water jets from any direction. It is not designed for submersion.

5.3 Storage
Place the taillight away from humid or high-temperature environments and avoid contact with children.
5.4 Cleaning
Wipe the taillight with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.

- Light not turning on: Ensure the battery is charged. If fully charged, try pressing the button firmly.
- Smart mode not activating: Check if the light is in a sufficiently dark environment and if motion is detected.
- Brake warning not working: Ensure the light is firmly installed and can detect deceleration.
- Charging issues: Verify the Type-C cable is correctly connected and the power source is functional.
