Operating Instructions
1. Display Overview
The large LCD display shows indoor and outdoor temperature and humidity readings simultaneously. It also features trend arrows, MAX/MIN records, and a backlight for visibility in low light conditions.

2. Button Functions (Touch Screen)
The TP65C features touch-sensitive buttons located at the bottom of the screen:
- CH SYNC: Press to select the channel (CH1, CH2, CH3) if you have multiple remote sensors. Press and hold to synchronize the main unit with the remote sensor(s).
- Light Bulb Icon (Backlight): Tap to activate the backlight. The backlight will automatically turn off after 15 seconds to conserve battery.
- °F/°C HISTORY: Tap to switch between Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F) temperature display. Press and hold to view the MAX/MIN temperature and humidity records for the last 24 hours or all-time.
- MAX/MIN CLEAR: When viewing MAX/MIN records, tap to switch between 24-hour and all-time records. Press and hold to clear the MAX/MIN records.

3. Temperature and Humidity Trends
The display includes trend arrows next to the temperature and humidity readings. These arrows indicate whether the temperature or humidity is rising, falling, or remaining stable over time.
- Up Arrow (↑): Indicates rising temperature/humidity.
- Down Arrow (↓): Indicates falling temperature/humidity.
- Horizontal Arrow (→): Indicates stable temperature/humidity.
4. MAX/MIN Records
The unit automatically records the highest and lowest temperature and humidity readings. You can view these records for the last 24 hours or since the last reset (all-time) by pressing and holding the '°F/°C HISTORY' button.
Maintenance
1. Cleaning
Wipe the unit and sensor with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as they may scratch the plastic parts and corrode the electronic circuits.
2. Battery Replacement
When the low battery indicator appears on the display, replace the AAA batteries in both the main unit and the remote sensor. Ensure correct polarity when inserting new batteries.
3. Storage
If the unit is not to be used for a long period, remove the batteries to prevent leakage and damage. Store the unit in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight.
Troubleshooting
- No Display on Main Unit: Check if batteries are inserted correctly and are not depleted. Replace if necessary.
- No Outdoor Reading or Flashing '---':
- Ensure the remote sensor is within range (200ft) and not blocked by significant obstacles.
- Press and hold the 'CH SYNC' button on the main unit to re-synchronize with the remote sensor.
- Check the remote sensor's batteries and replace if low.
- Move the main unit and/or remote sensor to a different location to avoid interference.
- Inaccurate Readings:
- Ensure the remote sensor is not in direct sunlight or exposed to rain, which can affect readings.
- Allow both units to stabilize for at least 30 minutes after setup or relocation.
- Compare readings with another reliable thermometer/hygrometer if available.
