While the ANCEL AS500 is compatible with most 12V standard OBDII/EOBD protocol vehicles (gasoline and diesel), some regional differences or specific vehicle designs may lead to incompatibility. Please note:

  • Not supported for Russian cars before 2012 (VAZ, UAZ, LADA).
  • Not compatible with 24V trucks.
  • Some Japanese and Korean car brands may have specific protocol variations.
  • For Renault and SsangYong vehicles, it is recommended to contact ANCEL support before purchasing to confirm compatibility.

If you encounter compatibility issues, please provide your vehicle's make, model, year, engine size, and fuel type to ANCEL support for assistance.

8.2 No Power

If the device does not power on after connecting to the vehicle:

  • Ensure the OBDII cable is securely connected to both the scanner and the vehicle's diagnostic port.
