4. Setup Instructions

4.1 VR Glasses Setup

  1. Unboxing and Initial Inspection: After receiving the package, carefully unbox the VR Glasses and ensure all components are present and undamaged.
  2. Remove Protective Film: Gently pull off any protective films from the lenses and other surfaces of the VR Glasses.
  3. Install Components: Attach the elastic headband and high-quality headphones to the VR Glasses. Ensure they are securely fastened.
  4. Familiarize with Controls: Locate and understand the functions of the pitch adjustment, object distance adjustment, touch screen button, volume controls, and multi-function button on the VR Glasses. The multi-function button can be used for answering/rejecting calls, playing/pausing music, and skipping tracks.
  5. Prepare Your Smartphone:
    • Download VR videos or games directly onto your phone.
    • Alternatively, search for VR video apps in your phone's app store (e.g., iQIYI).
    • Ensure your phone screen size is between 4.5 and 6.53 inches for optimal fit.
  6. Insert Smartphone: Open the mobile phone cover board of the VR Glasses and carefully insert your smartphone. Ensure the phone is centered for the best viewing experience. The phone screen cannot exceed the maximum recommended size.
  7. Audio Connection:
    • For Android smartphones: Directly connect the 3.5mm standard audio jack from the VR Glasses to your phone's audio jack.
    • For iPhone iOS or Type-C jack smartphones: You will need an appropriate audio adapter (e.g., Lightning to 3.5mm or USB-C to 3.5mm) to connect the VR Glasses' 3.5mm audio jack to your phone.

4.2 X3 Wireless Gaming Gamepad Setup

  1. Wireless Connection (Bluetooth-compatible):
    • Simultaneously press and hold the "A-Key" and "HOME Key" buttons on the controller. The LED light will flash rapidly.
    • Open your device's Bluetooth settings and click on "Scan" for new devices.
    • Search for the device name "GamePadplus V3" and click on "Connect".
    • After successful connection, the LED light on the gamepad will remain on.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Using VR Glasses for Media

  1. Select Content: On your smartphone, open a VR video app or a downloaded VR video/game.
  2. Enter VR Mode: Within the app or video player, select the option to enter VR mode. This will typically split the screen into two images.
  3. Select VR Glasses Model: If prompted, select the corresponding VR glasses brand and model (VR SHINECON G06E) within the app for optimized viewing.
  4. Adjust for Comfort: Once your phone is inserted and content is playing, put on the VR Glasses. Adjust the elastic headband for a snug but comfortable fit.
  5. Focus Adjustment: Use the pitch adjustment and object distance adjustment wheels on the VR Glasses to achieve a clear and focused image. This is especially helpful for users with nearsightedness (up to 600 degrees).
  6. Control Playback: Use the multi-function button on the VR Glasses to play/pause videos or answer/reject calls. Use the volume buttons to adjust audio levels.

5.2 Using X3 Gamepad for Gaming

  1. Connect Gamepad: Ensure your X3 Gamepad is connected to your device (smartphone, PC, TV, etc.) via Bluetooth-compatible, 2.4G receiver, or USB cable as described in Section 4.2.
  2. Launch Game: Open your desired game on the connected device.
