5. Setup
5.1. Charging the Shaver
Before first use, fully charge the shaver. A full charge takes approximately 1 hour and provides up to 60 minutes of cordless shaving time.
- Ensure the shaver is turned off.
- Connect the Type-C charging cable to the charging port on the bottom of the shaver.
- Connect the other end of the USB cable to a 5V/1A USB power adapter (not included) or a computer USB port.
- The charging indicator light will illuminate during charging. It will typically change color or turn off when fully charged.
- Disconnect the charging cable once fully charged.
5.2. Attaching and Replacing Accessories
The ENCHEN X8S-C comes with multiple interchangeable heads. Follow these steps to attach or replace them:
- Remove Protective Cover: If present, gently push the protective cover forward to remove it from the shaver head.
- Unload Current Head: Rotate the currently attached shaving head counterclockwise until it detaches from the shaver body.
- Insert New Accessory: Align the flange (base) of the desired accessory head with the groove on the top of the shaver body.
- Press Down: Gently press the accessory head down onto the shaver body.
- Mount Head: Rotate the accessory head clockwise until you hear a 'click', indicating it is securely mounted.
- Start Using: Press the On/Off switch to begin using the shaver with the new accessory.
6. Operating Instructions
6.1. Power On/Off
Press the power button located on the shaver body to turn the device on or off.
6.2. Shaving (Rotary Shaver Head)
The rotary shaver head is designed for efficient and comfortable shaving.
- Dry Shaving: For a quick shave, ensure your face is clean and dry. Move the shaver in small, circular motions against the direction of hair growth.
- Wet Shaving: For a closer and more comfortable shave, apply shaving foam or gel to your face. Move the shaver in small, circular motions. Rinse the shaver head under running water during and after use.
6.3. Using Other Accessory Heads
Attach the desired head as described in Section 5.2 and operate the shaver.
- Precision Trimmer Head: Use for detailing sideburns, mustache, or beard lines. Attach one of the three clipper combs for desired hair length.
- Nose & Ear Trimmer Head: Gently insert the trimmer into your nostril or ear canal. Do not insert too deeply.
- Facial Cleansing Brush Head: Apply your favorite facial cleanser to your face or the brush head. Gently move the brush in circular motions across your face.
- Facial Massaging Brush Head: Use on clean skin to gently massage your face, promoting circulation.
7. Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure optimal performance and extend the lifespan of your shaver.
7.1. Cleaning the Shaver Heads
The ENCHEN X8S-C is IPX7 waterproof, allowing for easy cleaning under running water.
- Turn off the shaver.
- Detach the shaver head by rotating it counterclockwise.
- Rinse the detached head and the shaver body (especially the area where the head connects) thoroughly under warm running water.
- For the rotary shaver head, the magnetic cutter net can be easily removed for deeper cleaning. Gently pull the magnetic head away from the main rotary unit. Rinse both parts.
- Shake off excess water and allow all parts to air dry completely before reattaching or storing.
- Do not use abrasive cleaning agents or harsh brushes, as these can damage the blades or surfaces.
7.2. Blade Maintenance
